LipService produce original comedies for the stage, which tour both nationally in the UK and internationally.

Maggie Fox & Sue Ryding have been writing and performing together since 1985. They have written fourteen original comedies for the stage, had their own comedy series on BBC Radio 4, many appearances on TV and won several awards.
LipService is now one of the most firmly established touring companies in the UK, touring throughout Britain but also abroad including trips to Pakistan, Eastern Europe, U. S. A. and Germany. The company is regularly funded by the Arts Council of England.
Laughter is a life-affirming experience, it is a signal of acceptance and positive interaction. It is our primary aim to provide a positive night out at the theatre, which is cathartic and exhilarating. ”

Looking forward to opening Strangers On A Train Set at Key Theatre Peterborough on 15th Feb. Not long now folks. Before that we have our final performance of Withering Looks on Sat 26th Jan at Theatre Royal Dumfries, a totally new venue for us, so if you know anyone in South West Scotland do let them now. Well, I'm very pleased to report that tickets seem to be selling well for our new show Strangers On A Train Set. Not all tickets are on sale yet but if you live in Bury St Edmunds where we are performing on 30th May, hurry up, it's selling very strongly, ditto Halifax Square Chapel on 30th March and The Lowry 17-19th May. Pioneering Women of Stockport now all sold out I'm afraid. We have one tour date for Withering Looks left this week in Newbury (15th) but then that's it for 2018. Phew! launching a new show for next year Strangers on a Train Set, opening at the end of February so watch this space!
