20th July, last day of term will be a shortened school day ending at 1.25pm. Lunch will be served between 1.25pm-1.45pm should students wish to eat.

This is a fantastic place to work. We get so much out of our students and we all want what is best for their future.

My son's just completed his first week at the academy, after joining the 6th form to study his A Levels. As he's slightly reserved, we were concerned about how easily he'd settle into a new school. However, he's come home with a positive report every day and has already made some new friends. In particular, he's commented on how friendly everyone is and how enjoyable the teachers make the lessons. Thank you so much for the welcome you've given him. I couldn't have wished for a better start for him.

My son has been in 3 different secondary schools and struggled with attitude and behaviour - mainly due to lack of challenge in lessons. Lipson was the only school that he enjoyed. The staff were understanding but firm. They stretched and encouraged him. It's a great school

Lipson is far more than just a school. It's a special place. A learning community. Enrichment is just as important as exam results. Teachers naturally go the extra mile. When you speak to ex-students they talk about Lipson being a great school.

LIPSON SCHOOL, HAS COME ON LEAPS AND BOUNDS , OVER THE PAST FEW YEARS. I tend to wonder, if it has something to do with the " New Generation " of teachers, now employed. Especially, in the Science Department. These chaps know their stuff !!

I haven't got a problem with the school at the moment. I find it very good,but if I did I would be down there to sort it out and not moan on here.

Great school, great facilities and great teachers.

Feeling much happier with the school today. Mrs Ashton is fantastic and really listens to parents. Feel more valued after our meeting today and glad she has recognised and put in place the support my child needs

Always hearing negative views about the Academy speaking to younger generation about the school who tell me bullying is a huge issues and teacher doing little to combat bullying in the playground also a school to highly strict on uniform to the degree they are sent him even for wearing the wrong shoes even when they are still black unfair and not fair on poor family who cannot afford much for a school uniform.



along with poorly telling parents about school uniform and giving them updates.



Need improve, Need a good bit of improvement.

When are the Heads going to stop all this bullying.?

Not happy when they take my daughter's tie off her and say it's there's. She left hers at home and they leant her one, she took it back and they say she hasn't, so take her tie.
