And that’s a wrap ..... gosh what a perfect end to 24 years of being a dance teacher . Past pupils with their own children, existing pupils, parents, my mum and sis and many tears and memories shared all in one evening of lovely-ness ❤️ thank you to everyone who came last night and to everyone who brought me a gift, I really didn’t expect all my gifts!!!!! Wow ....
I didn’t realise how hard locking up my dance cupboard, putting the alarm on and then locking the front door w...as until I did it !!! Then the tears began and didn’t stop really 😢 handing over my keys to Kara Mottram was the hardest thing I have had to do but I am so excited to see what happens over the years to come and be able to help out at her dance school .... kara, you will be awesome xxx
Thank you to everyone who has been with me over the last 24 years .... Sam, I think I will miss our time together the most 🥰

Mixed emotions tonight as I prepare to teach my final classes this week 😳 Looking forward to many hugs from many pupils along with tears too .... Out for tea after class on Thursday which will be a lovely end to the week ❤️ If I forget to say it ......thank you to everyone who as given me 24 years of wonderful memories, I will cherish them forever ❤️ love you all xxxx

Well ..... I didn’t think my eyes could cry anymore tears after yesterday but goodness me, after reading all your lovely messages on here these last 2 days, they have leaked again ! I feel extremely humbled and grateful to all of you - past and present pupils and parents too
I just needed to say thank you to everyone.
Some of you lovely past pupils have asked about popping in to visit me at class so I thought I would let you that OF COURSE YOU CAN COME !!! I would love to ...see as many of you as I can before I hang up my shoes
I am at class Tuesdays 4-8.30 And Thursdays 4-6.30
My final class is Thursday 18th July xx

Well.... what an emotional day (long post coming up guys)
Exam presentation day !! Such a proud day handing out exam results and wow, what results they have been this year ❤️
... Then the exciting news of the show theme for next year at Yeadon town hall !
Followed by the emotional news of me passing my dance school of 24 years on to the extremely talented Kara Mottram ❤️
It has been such a hard decision to make but I know that she will be an awesome dance teacher and she is looking forward to building up the school with new classes for all the pupils to enjoy
I have loved every minute of running my school for the last 24 years and feel extremely proud of everything we have achieved from dance competitions to shows to exams I have so many beautiful memories and have made life long friends !
One of those friends being Sam who has supported me through exams and shows and I look forward to lots of cuddles with your beautiful daughter very soon
Amongst all the tears and hugs today, I would like to wish kara all the best for her school from September and I am so looking forward to popping in to see all the amazing work that is being produced ready for her show
Kara will be promoting her new dance school Facebook page very soon and I know I will be the first to like her page
I want to thank everybody who has passed through my school over the past 24 years ..... you have all made me extremely proud and happy and I will keep those memories for ever

Finally thank you to all the parents for all your support with what has been such a difficult decision

Feeling proud as we hand over our cheque to The Market Place , our charity that we supported for our show this year, A very well deserving charity !! And as we breakup for easter hols, I think of all the amazing memories we have all made this term Happy holidays everyone ❤️
