Liskeard Storytelling Cafe Description
A not-for-profit storytelling club, founded by Liz Berg in 2012 at the Liskerrett centre. Liz retired in early 2015 and a committee of friends took on the organisation. We changed our name to Liskeard Storytelling Cafe in March 2015. In April 2017 we move to Liskeard Public Hall, having outgrown the Liskerrett centre. The emphasis is on family-friendly oral storytelling, but any oral contribution is warmly welcomed, including anecdotes, poetry, monologues. Listeners are just as welcome as tellers. About every three months we have a guest performer.
