I've been to many MANY doctors throughout the country(I move alot) and this is easily the best staff I've ever encountered. I will say most of the negative reviews are coming due to the system changes nationwide rather than the actual surgeries fault. People complaining of waiting weeks, yeah that's EVERYWHERE, if you don't like it, then don't vote tory as it's the government who decide this mess.

I was not registered to a doctors in Plymouth and I rang up needing an appointment as I am ill and currently having to miss work due to this, explained on the phone to the advisor my medical issue and was told to go in and they would get me an emergency appointment, upon arrival the lady on front desk said I did not have an emergency medical issue and I would be waiting 48 hours for an appointment causing me to lose out on further pay checks at work. Understandably annoyed as adivsor on the phone knew of my condition and advised me to go in, clearly the surgery is in need of a better phone advisor who actually listens on the phone and doesnt give out false infromation. If she had listened properly surely she would have known they wouldnt class my illness as an emergency. Lady on front desk was polite however no apology given for false information. I left in tears feeling no closer to getting better and back to work.

If you work you cannot get an appointment. You have to phone after 8am for a morning appointment (I am working by 8) and you have to phone before 3 for an evening appointment (I am working by then). Although they show that they are open until 6pm the week, which I could make if I left work early, you cannot get an appointment for this time - and they are not open at weekends. Completely unhelpful and useless.
If you book ahead of time you have to wait for weeks - I will just suffer then.

Houses the MASTA travel clinic which is a reliable if somewhat pricey place to go for travel injections and advice. If you can get to Exeter though there is a cheaper independent clinic.
