What a wonderful country pub and guest house. The staff are not only friendly and courteous but they all work so very hard. We stayed in the barn conversion on the other side or the river and were very impressed with the room and facilities. Very clean,tidy and a comfy bed made for a sound nights sleep. The food is tasty, well priced and a decent portion. I cannot recommend the Lister Arms enough keep up to good work guys and girls we shall be back ��

We spent two days in beautiful Malham and stayed at The Lister Arms. Warm, welcoming staff and a very comfortable, cosy room made our stay perfect. We had our 8 year old Labrador in tow and she was suitably spoilt with dog biscuits and a breakfast sausage! We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner in the bar area and it was all delicious. Thank you for looking after us, we will definitely be back soon.

We had come to Malham to walk and just enjoy a few days away to chill. The weather put its own slant on our break... Luckily we found the Lister Arms. We had eaten here a couple of times and when we became stranded in the village happily checked ourselves in for an extra days ‘holiday’. The staff, service, food and quality of rooms are exceptional. Definitely the best place to stay in this beautiful part of the world.

Very impressed with every aspect - menu choice, food, ambience and comfort, service all excellent. I did think some items on the menu were maybe slightly pricey e.g the meat and fish platters we had were delicious but slightly overpriced perhaps. I’d like to see a dry rose by the glass on offer rather than two off-dry/medium ones. But would certainly return, we all enjoyed our visit immensely - and service with a smile makes such a difference.

Stopped in for a snack, while out walking. Quick service, great selection of beers and food. Managed to sit outside in the sunshine, very pleasant

Stayed in the Barn which is beautiful. Great atmosphere in the Lister Arms pub with a great food, beer and wine menu. The pub is very well run and has a great, dog friendly, atmosphere.. the beer gardens are lovely especially on sunny afternoons and evenings. Sticky toffee pudding is outstanding�

Spent 2 nights there and absolutely loved it! The staff at The Lister Arms were all so friendly! Would def go back there again.

Just back from our little break away we stayed at Lister Barn absolutely amazing!!! We ate at the Lister Arms the food was great and the lady was absolutely lovely and so helpful! My little dog also loved his sausages in the morning! � would highly recommend this place

Just back from another fantastic family mini-break at the Lister Arms. Have been coming here for over 10 years now, one of our favourite places! Our two boys are always made to feel special and welcome and love every minute. The staff are so warm, friendly and professional, a great family pub where dogs are included too! The food is excellent, the rooms are cosy, clean and beautifully decorated. Cannot recommend the Lister Arms enough, we’ll be back again in a few months.

Had an amazing stay at the Lister Arms. We stayed in the new barn which is so beautifully presented I could have moved in! Outstanding customer service and gorgeous food!

So wonderful to find not somewhere so brilliant that not just accepts dogs but positively welcomes them!! Even gives them home made biscuits and sausages for breakfast!

Everything is thought off including dog washing facilities and boot drying space!

For walkers you are spoilt for choice all starting on the door step!

Great atmosphere with lovely food and friendly staff. Had the afternoon tea, nice fresh warm scones with decent coffee.

Friendly, comfy and in a great spot. Nine pumps on the bar to, so great for beer/cider fans. Food wasn't bad either, I didn't leave any. �

Food was amazing. Hot plates, beautifully cooked hake. And a lovely risotto.

Faultless. We booked an overnight and dinner as part of a Dales cycling weekend.



Booking-in was simple, friendly and efficient.



The room in The Cottage annex was spotlessly clean, well equipped and stylish.



Dinner was excellent - great service, food and atmosphere. We spent the remainder of the night in the busy bar - along with lots of friendly people, many accompanied by their dogs �.



The people running the show clearly know their stuff - a pleasure to experience.



Thoroughly recommended.

3 nights in the barn this place is a brilliant fined well done babe anybody who is going to the dales come here you will not be disappointed 5 stars for been dog friendly 5 stars on room and food it’s been a brilliant break and the walks and views to die for �

My partner and I popped in here for a drink at the weekend after a walk. My first impressions was a cosy Dales pub, staff were friendly and helpful on arrival, good atmosphere and the food looked divine. We would definitely come back again and recommend it to friends and family
