Lister Hospital Maternity Unit

The most horrible experience I had. I suffer from severe SPD in late pregnancy and the triage staff made me wait in agony 9h to be seen which made my condition even worse. The cervical examination was rough and provoked a great pain and distress to myself and my baby. I left home with very disappointing and since then I was in a great pain. I am still feeling like I was involved in a car crush, disabled,I have limited mobility and poor quality of life because of that.
No support .lack of empathy, lack of staff .👎👎👎

Absolutely brilliant maternity unit. Every single person we saw throughout the pregnancy was lovely and very useful.

Our midwife for the birth, Josie, was outstanding and we couldn't have wished for a better midwife.

The rooms were amazing - we had a birthing pool, en-suite room with shower, music system, and food and drinks available 24/7.

I hughly recommend Lister for the birth of your child - it was perfect.

Amazing staff.
Couldn't ask for more.

Could not fault the level of care in this facility, it was really outstanding. Despite quite a traumatic birth experience I never felt not looked after. The team explained every step to me in detail, with great care. An outstanding hospital to give birth in.

Over busy, under staffed - no communication, lots of errors in treatment due to being too busy and poor communication. Wouldn't go there again!
