Hi my name is Jenna and I am an OFSTED registered childminder and a member of PACEY.

I live in Cottenham with my family and put my heart and soul into looking after my children. I provide a happy, healthy, clean and stimulating home environment for every child. I can also provide healthy meals if required.

In April 2014 we extended and fully refurbished our home with a dedicated playroom for the children. We have a large open space for playing inside and with plans to develop further the children will have even more area to play and explore. I can provide a free flow play area and secure garden, combined with structured stimulating learning activities which are matched to the children's individual needs. With large bifolding doors to our safe and enclosed garden, children can have endless fun playing and exploring outside too. We have a variety of sit on rides, little tikes house and slide, foam building bricks, balls, den making materials, Trampoline and Climbing Frame. The children have lots of learning opportunities both inside and outside.

I take the children out every day, to the park, to the shops, local playgroups or we play outside in the garden. I treat each child as an individual. I also listen to parents’ wishes.

I complete a daily diary for the under threes and also send pictures to parents so you can see what we have been doing that day. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as set out by the government. Each child has their own file which shows their learning and development.
I offer the children lots of activities such as baking, colouring, making things, play-dough, dressing-up, story-time, small world, imaginary play, to name but a few.

I have a wonderful rapport with the children I care for and their parents and always look to parents for guidance in looking after their little ones.

I have completed my required 1st Aid Training, a childcare course with PACEY; awarded by CACHE (Council for Awards in Care, Health and Education) and I hold an enhanced DBS Check.

I will always be flexible with my hours, and have no problems working School Holidays, and providing evening /weekend care either in my home or as an evening babysitter.
