A very busy day at holiday club today, we've been to dinosaur world and found bones, painted and been creative, had fun in the gravel pit and played football. Hope we had some very tired ducklings at bed time 😍🐥

Very kind and knowledgable staff, my children settle very well and are constantly doing something, whether in the garden or indoors, baking and loving story time with Naomi, my son loves her special sounds :)

Not long after my son started at this pre-school they noticed his learning, speech and understanding was behind for his age a long with some behavioral problems but with all the help and support he has received from all the staff he has come on so much, he is growing with confidence in every single way. It's not just the kids they support and help but the parents too you can't ask for anymore than that xx

My son really enjoys going to little ducklings, I know he his happy and safe there and that makes me happy the staff are wonderful, friendly and always happy to help. It's a fab place for any child be

My son loves everything about little ducklings, his confidence has grown so much and I can't believe how clever he is and I strongly believe this is due to the wonderful staff at little ducklings can't thank you enough best thing we ever did enrolling Blake with u!

My little boy started at Ducklings a few weeks ago, to be honest I was dreading the whole settling in process and thought it would be a nightmare, he's never coped well with new things and has always been very dependant on me. It's been made so easy for me the excellent staff at Ducklings have supported both me and my son through this process and I feel confident and more than Happy that he's comfortable in his surroundings and is even settled enough to cuddle up for a sleep. This is a massive break through for him and in the few weeks he's been going we can already see massive improvements in his confidence, coping with change as well as his speech (which was our main aim) I have no doubt that I made the right choice choosing Ducklings for Edward and would recommend both the Thoresby and Fulstow settings to anyone looking for Outstanding Childcare delivered by a wonderful team of caring, thoughtful, happy, fun people that myself and my son both adore ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I Can not thank you all enough ❤

My little boy arrived at Little Ducklings struggling to speak and by the time he left he couldn't stop talking. Even now after a year at school he says he wishes he could go back and play. The staff are most welcoming and make you feel involved in your child's learning journey.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to you every week, you all do a superb job, she is really looking forward to her coming those extra days too. She has lots of fun, learns all sorts and has met lots of new friends! Keep up the good work!

My 3 year old son moved here after his previous nursery shut so I was worried how he'd take the move. Well there was absolutely no need to be worried as he loves it here and doesn't even want to leave most of the time!! The staff are so lovely, professional and friendly and they update me daily with what activities my son has done (and this is a lot both indoors and outside!!). Such a fantastic pre-school and as a parent I feel that this was definitely the right choice for both me and my son.

Little Ducklings is a lovely nursery. Helpful, friendly staff. Lots of work up on display that parents are able to see what the children have been doing..good communication between parents and staff (social messenger, Facebook page, babydays website)

My son loves to be outside, and Little Ducklings encourages outdoor play/learning which is fantastic. Access to the school apparatus and local village park, just straight through the gate.

I spent a long time looking for a nursery for my 2 year old as he was very strong willed and a real live wire (a bit of a nightmare really!)

I wanted somewhere that would nurture him and not dampen his spirit, as many places seemed too dull, too generic, too dark, too stuffy and too old fashioned for him......then I found Ducklings which is a 30 mile round trip for me.

The staff immediately saw all the good in him and actively found things to actually encourage his behaviour in a way that brought out the best in his fiery, stubborn ways - they never saw anything he did as negative...they just looked at ways of working with him and turning everything into a positive. His behaviour improved massively very fast but he still kept his character and in fact even more so as the encouragement he received boosted his self esteem.

The staff are very much there for parents - more than any other setting I have experienced. Everything is tailored to make life easier and more simple for parents, which is so appreciated by us that work - I run my own business and the staff know I am always in a rush and are so sympathetic to my hectic lifestyle.

It's a very special place. It's like no other for the standard of care and development individually to each child - the environment for learning is incredible. My son loves it and so do I. The best thing is - the staff love my son for who he is - they have never tried to change him or make him conform - they have laughed with him at his antics and embraced his crazy, wild child character.

I really can't express have grateful I am to all the staff - they are amazing. (Even you Mrs Parker!!). My twins have so much fun and talk about nursery constantly! Thank you xx

George is now into his second week at ducklings. After a difficult experience before hand I was seriously anxious about moving George. Well I couldn't be happier with little ducklings.

My son is happy and loved by a second family that go out of their way to ensure he is out in the dirt or simply snuggled reading books.

As a mother I can't recommend the amazing staff anymore.

Hand on heart both mine and George lives have changed for the better. I no longer worry while I'm at work about him because I know he's in great hands and having the time of his life.

For once it's me doing the crying when I leave him in the morning and not him! He doesn't want to come home he loves it that much.

Thank you a million times Miss Brooker and your amazing staff.

From my very first visit to Little Ducklings i knew that my little boy would be happy there.

The staff and children are more like a large extended family, and i think thats important especially when making new parents and children feel at home and welcome!

They are qualified to the eyeballs but are still down to earth enough to make me feel comfortable leaving my little man in their care, and just to be sure, they didnt bat an eyelid when the first couple of days of my sons being there i had an entourage of family members accompany me to be nosy..lol

I am updated daily with everything Tommy does and i know he loves it when he doesnt want to leave in the afternoon!

There is so many activities for him to do both inside and out that his little mind is on sensory overload :)))))

Tommy is a very happy little boy and that makes me a happy mummy, so thank you :) xxx

Fletcher is on his second week at little ducklings. Had no tears. Settled straight in. He's loved going each day. And gets up to so many fun things. We have loved seeing pictures of what he's been up to at nursery on Facebook. Staff are all polite and helpful. Thank you �

Connor has loved coming to Ducklings this year, he made some lovely friends and the staff have been amazing with him, he has been brought on so much since attending, we will miss you all. Thank you for everything.

A wonderful, stimulating, safe and caring environment. My girls have gained confidence and invaluable skills whilst playing in and exploring the setting. And you simply will not find more dedicated staff who are always willing to go above and beyond the call of duty.
