We visited the mill to celebrate my dads birthday, he's coeliac so we wanted to see if the reviews of the food were right-and they were! Great food and a big selection for him which is unusual. Attentive service and they even sang happy birthday to my Dad without prompt (must have heard us toast to him at the beginning of the evening) will definitely return. Big thanks to you both.

We recently had our wedding here and it literally surpassed all expectations. The owners decorated the venue exquisitely and in total keeping with our theme. The food during both the day and evening was exceptional and our guests loved it too. The staff were extremely professional and friendly. If you're thinking of an intimate wedding venue then we highly recommend.

We had the most relaxing time here. We would definitely come back. Our evening meal so absolutely delicious....tempura Prawns to start & Rib eye Steak for main course...cooked to perfection....and a tasty cheeseboard afterwards. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and chatty....Our room had everything we needed for our stay...although the bathroom looked very tired but did the job for one night...i slept like a log the bed and linen were fresh and great quality...cant wait to go back. Added extra, the Spa nxt door gave us a lovely massage before we headed home....Perfect. x

We came to your vegan evening last night and had a wonderful time! The food was absolutely first class, the ambience was perfect and your staff were so lovely. It was great to be able to have such a wide choice of both vegan and gluten free foods that are homemade, so much thought and care has clearly gone into your menu and cooking and it shows! It was a really special evening and we can't wait to come back and bring friends! Keep up the amazing work, the local vegan community loves you for it!

You guys are genius at the art of combining attentive service, a relaxed ambience and delicious food. As if that's not enough, you cater SO well for us vegans... I can't seem to stay away! I've had afternoon tea, Sunday lunch and an evening meal there lately and all were wonderful.



It's also so nice knowing I can bring friends and family with me and everyone will have a great time. We recently came with my Mother in Law for her birthday meal and she said she had a 'perfect day'.

My husband Steve and I spent New Year's Eve here. The food, especially the turkey, was heavenly. I usually hate turkey but couldn't get enough of Miranda's. The beef was pink and tender. And it was like at Hogwarts; the food just kept coming! The atmosphere was fantastic, everybody was in black tie and gown or cocktail dress. Fun casino was really fun. I know I am gushing, but it really was fantastic. And to top it all, I won a bottle of champagne just before midnight. Richard and Miranda and all the staff went above and beyond to make the evening magical. I can't wait to visit again. Tina xoxo

It was mine and my partners first new year together, our original plan got cancelled, so my boyfriend rang up here, booked everything last minute and got us in after having a lovely chat with Miranda, the owner. Honestly the best night of my life, we went there not knowing anyone but we made friends fast. We bought a budget room and the owners kindly upgraded us to supreme suite for free which made the whole experience perfect, the black tie theme event was amazing itself, we had a fun experience mixing with others in the fun casino. Both managers were so welcoming and kind we couldn’t have asked for better staff. The breakfast was outstanding. The whole place was so warm, welcoming and homely. We had the perfect experience and will most definitely be coming back regularly and they even said they do weddings which we will be definitely keeping in mind. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you to the owners, we really appreciate it.

I've just been for an afternoon tea with a very dear friend. It was one of the best I've had! The other amazing thing about it is that they have a gluten free afternoon tea. Very few places offer a gluten free afternoon tea and if they do, the selection is very small. Well worth a visit. We'll be going back very soon. Very keen to try out the winter afternoon tea or even the Christmas one if still available. A must visit!!

Dave and i married here on saturday 30th july 2016. It is beautiful . Miranda and richard completement the mill in every way.. our guests were in love with the place. The food was amazing . Our wedding was beyond what we ever dreamed of. I would highly reccomend celebrating your special day here. Thankyou miranda and richard. Can't recommend this enough!!! Went today for the first Winter Afternoon Tea and it was amazing. My husband was in absolute dessert heaven (Black Forest brownies and chocolate pots were to die for) and for me the scones and the wild boar sausage roll were gorgeous...Hope more people discover this little gem x

Came here yesterday for my mother in laws 60th , we had the afternoon tea and it was delicious and very well presented. My mother in law , sister in law and myself all had a lovely time and it's in such a nice little location too . The staff where very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend ( especially the chocolate brownies ÔøΩ) thank you for helping my mother in law have such a lovely time

Amazing afternoon tea for our Baby Sprinkle event! All the food was home made and the setting is beautiful.

A gem of a place. We went for afternoon tea and can't fault the place. I ordered the gluten free option and it was delicious. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Will definitely return hopefully in the summer as the garden as the river running past. Thank you for a lovely afternoon

11 of us for a winter afternoon tea which was absolutely gorgeous.Been here a number of times and have never left dissapointed. Staff, service and food all on point. Will be back very soon.

Went for gluten free evening and was spoilt for choice, especially as I'm vegetarian. Their was lots of choice, which I'm definitely not used too (was a real treat). They do have Gf choices on there normal menu, so we will definitely be going back ‚ò∫. Oh, and the staff are very friendly too.‚ò∫

We stayed for just one night, location is really nice and staff here were very nice and helpful. The only criticism was that our room was a little tired but was clean, the shower trickled out so that could be improved. Meal was lovely and once again staff very good. Breakfast was good. Whilst we enjoyed our stay not sure if we would do again although I would like to try the afternoon tea.

We drove a long way as I'm coeliac and had always wanted to try the Mill, but were really disappointed. The food was very average, basically just pub grub. Hubby didn't enjoy his mac and cheese starter or unseasoned steak (liked his brownie).... I liked the Camembert starter (although nothing different about it), really didn't enjoy gammon and chips and the parfait was half frozen half runny. Definitely won't go back and such a shame it didn't meet any of our expectations. Also service was slow as it seemed there was only one girl working the tables and the bar.
