Me and my husband stayed here for 5 nights. On arrival we were impressed with the lovely view from the site and the facilities were nice and clean, not mind blowing but considering they were free they were all you could ask for really. We didn't really feel like we had a very warm welcome, there was just a note left outside the reception hut telling us to camp where we liked and to call back at another time. The whole time throughout our stay we only ever saw anyone in the reception about 3 times between leaving notes on a chalkboard outside. If we had a problem we would've had the inconvenience of walking up to the farm and bothering the owner. Also hearing complaints about their guests wasn't very pleasant, if you're going to run a campsite at least show your face and show interest in your guests. On our last day, we stayed until 12:30, you're meant to check out at 11 but once again there was no one around to wish us fair well so we thought why not? 😂. Although a nice walk down to the local cosy pub (which does amazing food and give you a great welcome) we won't be visiting again.

The view from our pitch was stunning, what ever the weather. Really liked the 'alcove' layout of the whole site. The entrance by car is tricky as not sign posted before the turn off and a blind turn out onto the road. Pedestrian access is also tricky as there isn't a footpath all the way along the road (which cars travel very fast along) and the path from the site was treacherous on the one occasion we used it. A quiet site which is nice but 9pm a little early! As with other sites that charge per pitch for 2 people, not sure why I have to pay full pitch price + dog price per night although just me and the dog. I paid more than my 2 people companions.

Beautiful views from this 'coastal' campsite. Situated midway between Ilfracombe and Coombe Martin. Easy downhill access to the coastal path. Adjacent to a family theme park.
The site has one small, clean toilet and shower block and a shop selling essentials. Pitches are spacious and in terraces, therefore all appear to have sea views.
