It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to report our beautiful, funny Hank was taken by the fox last night on his way into bed. As many of you know, he’d become a constant companion, even on the school run and we’re absolutely gutted.
Thank you for all the lovely messages.

Don’t forget to stock up in our friendly local shop when you stay. It’s about a mile and a half away in the centre of the village. Great for grabbing an ice cream or drink when you’re out on a walk!

After lunch at The Kings it seemed like a good idea to come up a hill! Still up said hill, getting dark, everything’s white including the track. Boys still tobogganing while I’m sat in the car wondering how we’re going to get down! All good fun!

Such a sad day at Little Owls as we bid farewell to our lovely, sweet-natured Carman. She was the matriarch of the herd, my Carmella-Bella, long suffering partner of Joey, fantastic mum to Sheldon, Leonard and Penny and the calming influence on every creature she encountered. She was funny and stubborn, she would only walk on a lead if you sang “we’re off to see the wizard “! We were lucky that she shared the last 9 years of her 22 year life with us all but we will all miss her so,so much. Sleep well lovely lady xxx
