Well the time is here again when we say goodbye to some of our big boys & girls who are going to 'big' school in September. It has been such a pleasure having you all in our nursery & we know that you will all enjoy learning new things & making new friends. Good luck to our class of 2018.

Renovations complete. I would like to thank all the tradesman that contributed to our beautiful, newly refurbished Nursery. Warrington Plasterers, Impact Graphix and Signs, Penketh and Sankey Carpets and Dave Blackburn Decorating. Thank you also to all our wonderful parents, children and staff for supporting us. Our routine inspection from the Environmental Health was conducted today and we are pleased to say we have retained our 5 Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 😃👏🏻👏🏻

Happy 6th Birthday to US today. We opened the doors on 13th February 2012. We have grown from strength to strength over the past six years and I would like to thank all my wonderful staff and amazing parents and children who make Little Penguins what it is today. On the last day of 2017, I would like to thank all our parents, children and our staff for all the support you have given us this year. It’s been a privilege looking after your most important treasures over this past year and we look forward to continuing in 2018. Next year will bring exciting changes, the biggest being a complete Nursery revamp, starting January, which we cannot wait to start. Today is our last day of 2017 in Penguin Land. We would like to thank all of our lovely parents & their families for your support over the last year. We are looking forward to having our outdoor area revamped with new grass & activities so your little ones can have lots of fun exploring with their friends. Well that's our first week over of the new term. We hope everyone has had a lovely summer & looking forward the Autumn term. 🍁 We would like to welcome our new starters & their families into our nursery & hope the little ones have lots of fun making new friends & exploring their new surroundings.👫 I know we had a few tears from children & mums during the first couple of days, which is quite normal, but I'm sure mums are now enjoying their few hours of "freedom" whilst their little ones are settling into nursery & having lots of fun with their new friends. 🐧

How lovely is this plaque given to us from one of our school leavers, Olivia. It is so nice to be appreciated & a few words mean such a lot. ☺

Today we said goodbye to some of our little penguins who have flown the nest as they are now "big" enough to go to that big nest called school. We will miss their little faces & the individual characters they have become. It is always an honour when parents leave us in charge of their most treasured posession & we hope that they will remember all the staff who have been part of their early journey & not forgetting all the new friends they have made. Good luck to all of our children who are about to enter into the next chapter of their lives. 🐧xxxx

Little Penguins decided to make their own little tribute for Manchester. They made some bees & 22 flowers for the table. Some children were talking about the incident during the first couple of days of it happening, but they were too young to understand the seriousness of it all. One child also told me he had seen "policemen with big, big guns" . I told him they were there to protect us & we should never be frightened of them or any police officers. They are people we go to for help & if they see any police officers in the street they should go to say hello to them. Working with children is so special ❤

Day 2 of our first aid course & the topic was choking. We thoroughly enjoyed wrapping our arms around each other! 😉 Chris our trainer certainly makes learning fun ☺
