I have recently registered as a chilminder and work from home in Sacristan village. I offer a comfortable, warm, stimulating and safe environment for children to develop and learn.

Children can participate in a wide range of activies which are interactive, creative and imaginative in which they can learn and have fun.
Qualifications.
Introduction to Childminding Practice.
12 hour infant and Child Resuscitation First Aid course.
Introduction to Youth Work
Access to higher Education; Health and social care.
Belong to a childminding network.
Enhanced CRB
Regularly Ofsted inspected

Activities and Resources.
Large range of baby and toddler toys
(as well as travel cot, car seat, highchair, pushchair and nappy changing facilities)
Outdoor toys including sand and water pit, tents, and skittles.
Wide range of books for different ages.
DVDS, and CD’s.
Puzzles and board games.
Dolls and dolls house.
Paints, colouring and other creative activities including equipment for much younger children to get involved.
Role play and imaginary, toy kitchen, tea sets, dress up and shop.
Cooking and baking simple foods such as cakes and biscuits, i also encourage children to be involved where possible in making simple and nutritious meals.
I also provide a computer , iPad and games console for older children and age appropriate games, although i do limit the time spent on these.

I ensure all outdoor and community activities are risk assessed (a copy of which is readily available to you) and appropriate to all ages.

I provide flexible hours including some evenings and week-ends and unsociable hours. although my working hours are 7. 30am to 6;30pm I understand the need for shift workers to have available and flexible childcare so I am willing to negotiate longer hours if required.
I am happy to provide meals, including breakfast, lunch and Tea as well as snacks, all of which are healthy and wholesome, however I am happy to serve food provided by parents /carers
I am happy to provide care for babies from 4months of age and have a wide range of toys and equipment available.
I offer school and nursery collection and drop.
I can care for 6 children at any time; 3 of which are under 5 and, 1 of which can be under 1 and 3 over 5years. .
