Little Shop Of Dora'S Description
After years of making things for family and friends my mum finally persuaded me I am capable of making a business out of it, and so was born 'Little Shop of Dora's'! (and yes, those who know me WILL know it's obviously named after my Border Terrier! but I thought it was a funny play on words too! ) On this page you will see the various things I make (at the moment I'm concentrating on textiles, especially dolls for ornamentation rather than playthings, though I do make the occasional rag doll for Grandchildren etc! ) I will be adding more and more things as and when I get photos of them. I also paint artwork (including murals) If you're interested in anything you see, just send me a message and I'll be glad to answer any questions. Brightest blessings, Jane xx

OK people, after much deliberation (and procrastinating!) I am finally diving into mystery that is self employment! Yes finally! Official launch date 25th of August 2018. This means posts from Little Shop Of Dora's will be much more frequent and commissions will be taken for portraits of pets, people... in fact pretty much anything! **Please Note: These photo's are just some of the commissioned paintings I've already done so aren't part of the exercise... though of course, I... can paint them again if required ;) ** As an inspirational exercise post a suggestion below for a celebrity portrait. Depending on the number of suggestions(if any?) I'll either pick the winner out of the hat, or paint the most popular choice and lucky dip the name from the people who suggested it. The winner gets the portrait! Simples!! Draw takes place on the 1st of September 2018

Continuing on the pet 'pawtrait' theme, two recent gift paintings of much loved dogs and something completely different, a faery plaque made with air drying clay for my Mum on Mother's Day :)

Haven't posted for FAR too long (so sorry!!) so here's my latest commission...
Some of my latest work, pic 1 is of Diesel and his Colin for Christmas, pic 2 and 3 were painted in acrylics for a gift to my friend (Diesel sadly went across the rainbow bridge a week after my Dora)
Slight delay in the relaunch due to completely overhauling my workroom and caring for a new addition to the household... But photos of latest pieces will be posted over the next few weeks!! Thanks for your patience!!! Much love!
AAAARGHHH! so much to do, so little time! Busy making things for Christmas and preparing for the relaunch in January amongst other things ;) will keep you all posted, plenty of pictures to follow after Christmas!! :D x
