About The Ferry
The Ferry started in 2012 and is a joint venture between the Littlehampton Town Council, the Littlehampton Yacht Club, Robert Boyce and the East /West Beach Cafes. The ferry service links the town centre with the sandy beaches, golf course and yacht clubs on the West bank of the River Arun. The boat was specifically sourced in Florida in the US and was shipped over to the UK to become the first and only one of its kind to operate in the UK. It is a pontoon boat that is very stable and capable of carrying 12 passengers (and skipper) and is run over the holidays and summer months. There is luxury seating for 12 and a sun canopy. There are dedicated pontoons on either side of the river for easy access. The ferry can carry buggies, bikes and well behaved dogs. There are 2 easy access gates so passengers can step aboard with ease.

There is disabled access from both the East and West Banks. Please contact us in advance to discuss your requirements.
