We are seeking to recruit an Assistant Estimator for the HS2 and Wales and West Division of the company. The position will be based at our Pontypool Office. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Senior Estimator/Business Development Manager.

Littlewood Fencing were involved in a scheme on the A21 to upgrade the damage culvert on the Tonbridge by -pass. This involved replacing the existing VRS on the verges to match the existing tensioned corrugated beam system. We also replaced the VRS in the central reserve with new double sided Tata N2W4 for approx 100 metres.

We are seeking to recruit Fencers for the Security Division of the business. In this role the successful applicant will have a good technical knowledge to carry out the works on site in accordance with health & safety guidelines. It is the responsibility of the Fencer to understand hazards, determine risks, and work to the RAMS, site briefings a, whilst achieving output and building to specification. Plant & Transport Coordinator
Principal Role:
• To provide support to the Transport Manager in the day to day function of that role, for example, assisting with all fleet management and documentation... • To ensure that any vehicles or items of plant operating on our fleet are logged Maintained, fit for purpose & insured. • Ensure all plant operating on site owned by the company or hired in has current test certs and is booked in or out. • Assist Transport manager with various administrative tasks.
Key qualities for the successful candidate
• To have a sound understanding of Health & Safety practises • To have good communication skills • To be well organised and self-motivated, pro-active, process driven and methodical • To work well and flexibly within a team • To be comfortable with computer operated systems, to include a reasonable level of Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets and Outlook • To hold or have aspirations to gain Transport Manager CPC qualification • To hold a current full Driving license with less than 6 penalty points • The successful applicant will report to the Transport
