LIV is a brand new store that is a modern concept to your regular food shop, offering only the best in organic, natural and free from foods.
LIV's core concept is to provide only the best organic, natural and healthy foods to all its customers to help them lead a longer, healthier life.
The concept is set to be achieved by providing customers with a unique, artisan-style twist on the traditional basket shopping experience that they may be accustomed to with the big retail outlets.

LIV is situated in Radiant House, the former home of The Liverpool Gas
Company and a building that quite literally lit up Liverpool.
LIV is situated on Bold Street, a street that pulsates a rich bohemian vibe, where a feeling of cultural modernity meets tangible history.
Radiant House was once the home of The Liverpool Gas Company, a business that was at the forefront of modern ingenuity during the post-war era. With Liverpool benefiting from one of the lowest prices for
gas in the country.
It is an impressive building that dominates the street, with its art-deco design and bold roof that rises above the rest.
Two golden eagles once adorned the interior of the building, one eagle with a proud and defiant stance, the other with a more bedraggled appearance.
The eagles were an iconic part of the building, with such an impact that it was named after the way in which the golden edifices radiated a celestial-like light.
On the ground floor, where LIV's food hall stands, was a showroom with elegant marble flooring and mighty pillars. Here, customers could purchase beautiful fireplaces and lighting fixtures.
One of the company's policies was to introduce colour into the houses of local residents and therefore Radiant House was a place that could light up the homes of Liverpool.
The building also boasted several showrooms, a reception lounge and theatres. In its lecture theatre, you could find Liverpudlian housewives discussing their household needs and school children visiting on educational trips to learn of the latest marvels in gas manufacturing.
Not only at the forefront of customer service, but The Liverpool Gas Company also offered its many staff a great workplace with roof gardens, tea-rooms and dining suites. The staff kitchen, fitted with all of the company's modern appliances was accessible to the public.
Radiant House was truly at the centre of pioneering innovation in Liverpool, well ahead of its time in engineering as it was in employee welfare and customer experience.

ethical and philanthropic activities that benefit the local community.
LIV is passionately proud of its Liverpool roots and endeavours to build a strong connection to its local community. This is part of the core elements that form the platform for LIV and one of its key aims is to take part in ethical and philanthropic activities on a regular basis.
Recycling
Protecting the environment is of utmost importance to the LIV brand and the team are partnering with Liverpool City Council's recycling department to make recycling cool.
Plans include educating the public, students and local community on all the forms of recycling including the trendy 'upcycling' craze that sees end-of-life products such as wheelie bins being revived and renewed into something useable.
The team behind LIV has ensured that "food-to-go" range will only use
packaging from suppliers that share similar ethical beliefs to that of LIV.
All of the 'Food-to-Go' packagings is either recyclable, biodegradable, compostable or reusable. There will also be no plastic bags used in
the store, instead the team have chosen an innovative shopping bag that is made out of compostable PBAT and plant-based PLA, so that there is no damage to the environment when disposing of the bags.
Charity
Similarly, to its sister company, Healthy Foods Online, LIV will also ensure that philanthropic activities are a key part to its day-to-day running.
Food donations to the local homeless charity, The Whitechapel Centre will continue, however, more frequently and with the introduction of fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products.
As Healthy Foods Online is a proud partner of the Liverpool-based Homeless Games, an initiative to help those who have experienced homelessness or social exclusion through sport and companionship.
Staff at LIV will also be encouraged to get involved with the charities and initiatives through volunteering and promotion.
The partnership signifies the importance of the health and wellbeing of the local community to the company and this has been included in the ethos of LIV as a strong value and core belief.

We had the best vegan aubergine, mushroom and truffle ravioli at the handmade pasta bar! Absolutely delicious and tasted so fresh- would definitely come again.
We had fabulous food in the câfÊ: wild mushroom risotto and beef lasagne - very tasty. Friendly staff and a very clean environment. We will return. Thank you.
This place is amazing it has all I could dream of being a free from person due to health issues

This is an awesome place. Gorgeous vegan food and coffee. Vegan heaven! Eat in and grocery shop. It was just a pity I had so far to travel home otherwise I would've shopped until I dropped! I'll certainly be calling again on my next trip to Liverpool. X
The only place I can buy mostly organic products at a weight I need without the kids unnecessary excess plastic packaging.
The new freshly made pasta by the amazing Italian chefs is probably the best pasta you will taste ever. They will recommend the right sauces and the right toppings. Not only that the overall shop is amazing.
Pride of Bold Street, great food, reasonable pricing, clean and friendly cafe, love the bakery.
Lovely place, great coffee, jaffa cake heavenly! and v friendly staff. Bonus- a very clean accessible baby change too.

If you are looking for great quality organic products but watching the budget and keeping nutrition in mind, I'll highly recommend this place.

I was here Wednesday morning for the Free Mini sample Breakfast Event and I really enjoyed the offering of food and drinks, I loved the peanut butter & banana on sourdough.
The staff was very helpful and kind and lovely during my time eating in the eatery cafe,
Will definitely come again and sample the veggie Breakfast.ďż˝
I love the energy at LIV. It's a well organised and clean market with friendly customer service and delicious fresh food and drinks which are produced to a high standard. I definitely recommend LIV for vast selection of quality goods which they sell, as well as the main eatery and comfortable dining area, and the fresh handmade Italian pasta bar. I keep coming back for the vegan lasagne with delicious sides. Keep up the great work.
I had to catch a train and have lots of dietary requirements. However, Alex went out of his way and cooked something in minutes! Super delicious too. Thank you Alex. Highly recommended.

Tried my first vegan food in the cafe here & it was amazing! I will definitely be approaching a more vegan & organic diet where I can, knowing there are so many options here!

Came to Liverpool shopping for the day - we stumbled on this amazing place when we first got off the train, we shopped and shopped and suddenly realised it was 1345 abd we hadnât had any lunch.... we started looking around and saw all the regular places but they just didnât take our fancy đ˘. So convinced my shopping partner to have a quick walk back to Bold Street where we saw the organic whole food place... Oh my gosh it was so worth the short walk back, we had a fabulous salad ( not your normal boring Caesar salad) and had 2 smoothies. The cakes looked amazing too but we were too full and still hadnât finished our shopping! A real gem anyone wanting a tasty and healthy lunch - highly highly recommend and reasonably priced... wish we had one nearer us... well done Liv Organic
My favorite eating place. Had a Panini first time ,was really good falafel advarcdo olives salad. U really feel u have eaten after one.
Hot meals. U have a choice from the hot trays. Small or larger portions with as much yummy salad varieties they have on offer.
Food is so good u don't even notice there is no meat.
Coffee and natural cakes to die for too.

Oh and the Market has An Amazing Variety of goods.
I love the food here but the staff are SO slow. Absolutely no sense of urgency even when you say you're in a rush. It's like they're all stoned! It's put me off going to the cafe as they keep you waiting 20 mins for a coffee even when it's not busy- this has happened three times.
Called in after seeing the advertising in the Echo for Gluten Free produce and cafe. Lots of high end GF products in the store, even fresh bread, although seemed a bit hard, pastas and exciting things like Amaretto Biscuits! However, there was only a choice of two gluten free sandwiches - off the shelf, as none in the cafe - the only gluten free cake was the ubiquitous Chocolate Brownie, why does everyone provide Brownies? Coeliacs like other stuff too! However, the brownie was out in the open, next to the other cakes, so even if they had any left, we couldn't have had it, due to the risk of cross contamination from crumbs. I would suggest some Coeliac UK training for staff and a bit more thought to what you offer.
