Live At The Oak Description
A FREE fortnightly live music event which aims to bring the best live music back to Lancaster.
Bringing the best of established talent from around the country along with new, up and coming bands from the local scene and beyond. 'Live at the Oak' is here to put Lancaster back on the music map and to fill the void of music on campus for not only students, but people of the local area.
The days when 'Rock Goes to College' brought acts like Thin Lizzy, Queen and AC /DC to Lancaster may be a distant memory but 'Live at the Oak' is here to recapture the imagination of artists and audiences alike to create a night that will breathe new life into the social scene of the university.
We are aiming for even bigger and better things going forward and make sure you spread the word of Live at the Oak around to all your friends so we can make this Lancaster's best event!

TONIGHT, IT RETURNS! LATO is back and with a twist, we've collaborated with the JCR to bring Live at the Quiz, a special edition county quiz night with live music round and live entertainment too! ATLAS and The Truce will be performing throughout the night!

According to SCAN: Student Comment And News we are defunct...Well we most certainly are not!
We are working closely with the college, JCR and bar to bring more to our events which have seen touring bands visit Lancaster University and still will in the future.
In the meantime support the BOTB (what's left of it), Pendle Live and other live music events and we will be back to add to that very soon.
