Went to the Ritz last week (came up from Brighton for the weekend) for both the northern soul night on the Friday and the modern jive night on Saturday. What a beautiful dance hall with a great floor and a friendly crowd. Keep up the good work, hope this place keeps being supported as a place like the Ritz needs to stay. Will be back soon, just wish I lived closer!
Went to see a live band who was seeing motown last night. They was brilliant! Love to see them again....
We visit the RITZ Ballroom pretty often and love it. Great Venue with Amazing Dance floor and sound system. Also super staff to boot. I do hope this problem is sorted soon and we can all get back to enjoying good nights at the RITZ BALLROOM BRIGHOUSE!!x
We had a really good night out at Mercury Live. Lovely atmosphere, not too hot, nice choice of drinks at the bar, bar staff very good but difficult to hear! I would def go back and reccomend it.
We almost lost this place to developers a couple of years ago!!! And then along came Glen who has not only kept this venue going but continues to provide great live acts and regular well supported dance events. Large stage, great sprung dancefloor
& great sound system ......what's not to like¤Æā¤Å╗¤Æā¤Å╗¤ÄȤÄȤÆā¤Å╗¤Æā ¤Å╗
Top place for a night out. Great acts, great music and great people!
Shame that they've stopped 40's 50's rock n roll nights as we love dancing on a sprung floor! Get them back on and advertise through the many rock n roll, jive dance classes, which are numerous in Bradford, Leeds, Halifax, Barnsley and Sheffield!

I've recently been to an AC/DC tribute and last night a Motown/Soul night featuring The Edwin Star Band. Great music and atmosphere, very friendly place, reasonably priced drinks. They don't do B&B or have a restaurant so please don't confuse it with a place of the same name in London - that probably doesn't serve cheap drinks or feature tribute bands but appears to be worried it's losing trade to our Ritz ’┐Į’┐Į

Great night and also would just like to send a massive thankyou to the staff who provided lifts for me and my friends home in the snow when all the taxis had stopped. You really were angels. Big thank you to Gary and the other guy (sorry donŌĆÖt know his name) with the 4x4 who took to northowram. CanŌĆÖt wait for another night here.

First visit to The Ritz and Brighouse. Excellent venue and staff very friendly. Will definitely be back to see other gigs and stay over.
Fantastic night out dancing to the Rumble band and DJ always play some great dancing music
Fantastic night Though it really was Queen they were super ! Don't like the plastic glasses though couldn't drink wine in half pint plastic glass !!! Not good !!

Cracking Northern Soul night. Went to first one last month and going again tonight. Great music, dance floor and people.
By far the best dancefloor a place to go and loose yourself in an amazing atmosphere with like minded people.
Brilliant, brilliant soul night! Great live band, great DJ playing records that make you to dance on one of the best dance floors in the country. Grest people, and guess what? the northern soul nights are just as good!
Brilliant venue! Love all the great acts, disco, massive sprung dance floor, pub prices for drinks and plenty of seating for when you need a rest from all the dancing ¤ÖéCan't think of many places like this.
Best place for modern jive for miles around - both for lessons, freestyles and motown nights - such a friendly and welcoming crowd - I love the Ritz!!! x

Absolutely brilliant night. Fantastic band and DJ. All the staff are great and the dance floor is massive and springy. Great for soulers. Carnt wait to go again.
A truly stunning venue beautiful Art Deco building amazing atmosphere both Glenn & the staff do a great job. Will always come back KTF
A fantastic venue the dance floor is amazing for Northern soul dancing great bar staff kept tables clear of dirty glasses all night

Very disappointed in the new owner on this once great venue, eighty to a hundred people turned up for the monthly Rock n Roll record hop on Saturday 27th only to be told the event was cancelled, People had travelled from as far as Manchester, His reason for cancelling was. " somebody slagged me off on Facebook" so friends avoid the Ritz in future he can do it again.
I came over from Leeds tonight but could nt get there for the classes ...arrived about 9.10 pm told by Graham that it would be ┬Ż 5 from 9.30 ..I said I would not be doing the class so would wait and instead of just saying ok go in he motioned to wait outside ...I elected to wait in the porch area ....after 15 minutes Graham informed me that I would have to pay ┬Ż7 if I wanted to come in ... I said thanks for making me wait 15 minutes before telling me ..he said management had just made the decision .... I have to say its a pretty poor way to treat what was a valued customer who has given up many hours previous and some recently in assisting with teaching beginners .... I am pretty disappointed at being treated this way and on principle I will not be going out of my way to call in to the Ritz anytime soon ...
