Good for a beer or watching sports/ playing pool but wouldn't recommend eating here.
I've been here quite a few times as I enjoy sitting outside in the summer or playing pool with friends however, on multiple occasions I've been sitting waiting for food or a drink and an actual RAT has ran past me.
One time one of the girls brought our drinks over and two rats ran over my foot and into the corner where the kitchen is.
The poor girl stood shocked as she seen it and apologised and said that the drinks are on the house.
I've also got food poisoning twice from here, nothing is ever fresh and most things are microwaved.
I've learnt my lesson now and just go for a quick drink occasionally in summer.

Never order food here. It would have been alright to just get drinks but avoid the very mediocre food and incredibly slow service. We are laid back people, but when it gets to two hours until our food comes out when the place wasn't even busy, that's unacceptable. They brought a few wrong meals out along the way, but even that was after 1.25 hrs of waiting.

It's a nice cosy venue with fairly priced drinks. Great place to watch sporting events.
What detracts from the place is the awful blaring music that filters from below into the sports venue upstairs.

Happy hours are a great deal! (Specially the steins) Food is quite ok, music sometimes a bit too loud

Was ignored by multiple barstaff upon arrival. Got a nice drink in the end.
Met with a friend and, when we went to order food at the bar. We were told to take a seat and a server would come to take our order. We then struggled to catch a servers attention after over 10 minutes.
When we finally took our order, the server brought the wrong drinks after a 10+ minute wait despite the bar not being busy, with staff messing around behind the bar.
Food took 25+ minutes and came out without some of the described sauces.
Medium rare steak was more than well done, and chicken burger was falling apart upon arrival and overcooked. Fries weren't anything to phone home about.
Before we'd finished our meal and within less than 10 minutes of receiving it, after being asked whether we would like to open a tab, we were presented with the bill, being told that the kitchen would be shutting and that a portion of the staff would be leaving, so we could no longer hold an open tab.
We finished our food, paid our tab and left.
Genuinely the worst service I've received in quite a long time.

A total shower. Went with a stag, we were made to wait in the rain for 30 minutes, despite it being booked and deposit paid. The reason was something to do with the girl with the one piece of paper containing booking info was upstairs somewhere.

Eventually got in and were sat down, after around 5 minutes they moved us to the next table. After about another 10, they moved us back again.

We eventually got pitchers of beer, it took a long time. No glasses were provided. They had run out apparently. Eventually a brain cell kicked in somewhere and glasses were provided. I would say it was at least an hour before we were able to drink (including waiting in the rain).

We ordered food. A life time later it started appearing... 3 of the guys around me had no actual burgers in their cheap crappy 'burgers'.. just no meat.

A total shambles, and a shame as they'd make a great deal more money if run correctly. Every part from the rude bouncer to terrible service and missing meat made it what it was. A complete joke.

Decent, but super slow service... Good selection of beer, didn't try the food...

Attended last night for a hen party, over 20 of us so had booked a table and pre ordered drinks and food, quite frankly a shambles! Our waitress deserves a medal, but to be honest a new job I don't know how she does it! No organisation what so ever! Through no fault of her own, drinks took forever to arrive and the food just as much! One of life's frustrations is cheap tomato ketchup being put into bottle of Heinz! Not only is it against training standards and in breach of the consumers right to know what ingredients are in a product (yes I have allergies, yes it's annoying I know) but it makes you question production techniques if corners are being cut! The food was terrible, if you plan on coming, do yourself a favour and book a restaurant before, we all wish we had! The cider is actually very nice and the place is reasonably set up well, although the ladies blocked and flooded but that's can't be helped. The band were very entertaining, and the DJ had a good mix up until about 12:30 when it's time to move on... beerkeller in Leeds is packed out to the rafters every weekend, I now can see why the place was only half full, TV fight or not, I sense this is a common issue here. Again, management need to resolve the issues, or you will loose your staff! Poor gal!
