Liverpool Marina Description
HOURS SHOWN ARE OFFICE HOURS You have found one of the most unique marinas in the UK. We can offer you a boat berth on the edge of a thriving city, yet in a peaceful location with superb on site facilities including a yard with a 60 tonne hoist.
The recently refurbished ‘Quayside’ offers breakfast from 8am, seven days a week. Meals and snacks are served until 9pm every day alongside a late bar.
Liverpool Yacht Club has been based at the marina for more than 20 years. They have a year round racing programme and an active cruising section. This makes us a great choice for racing yacht berths. Our shared waterspace is home to dinghy sailing and a canoe club. Wakeboarding can even be enjoyed in the adjoining dock.
We are also established as one of the best canal boat marinas in the UK and North West. The shore and waterside facilities on offer make a stay at Liverpool a far superior experience. During the year we are adding superfast broadband across the entire waterspace and private bathrooms for the enjoyment of all berth holders.
With our marina berths attracting a wide range of vessels and owners there is always something going on at Liverpool. We are an RYA ‘Active Marina’ and training centre, the marina complex hosts a range of activities from art classes to the local backgammon club. And anybody who is interested in starting to sail can come to Quayside marina bar and grill any Wednesday night from 9pm to meet yacht club members who will endeavor to get you sailing!

We are planning to commence dredging again on or about the 18th July for a period of up to two weeks. Please note that this will place restrictions on the approach of vessels from the South East as there will be pontoons across the area. We attach a map for guidance - the dredging operation is marked in red.
**ALL BOAT OWNERS ARE ADVISED TO TAKE EXTREME CARE IN THE AREA, WE WILL BE UNABLE TO MOVE THE DREDGER OR THE PONTOONS**
The lock will be in normal operation, but extre...me care should be taken when approaching and passing the dredging operation. The crew on the dredger will be keeping an eye out and will monitor radio transmissions on VHF CH37.
