Liverpool Marxist Society

Liverpool Marxist Society is for revolutionary students and young workers across Merseyside.

We are part of the Marxist Student Federation in the UK.

Liverpool Marxist Society is a group of revolutionary students and workers on Merseyside.

We hold weekly meetings to discuss Marxist ideas and their relevance to today, as well as how we can fight for a socialist alternative to capitalism.

We are part of the Marxist Student Federation (www. marxiststudent.com), a network of around 30 Marxist Societies in universities, schools and colleges across Britain, fighting for socialist policies in the student movement and linking up with workers in struggle. On the basis of educating a wider and wider layer of students, the Federation is launching campaigns and coordinating interventions in the NUS with the aim of raising Marxist ideas amongst students in a concrete fashion, and ultimately to win the NUS to a revolutionary Marxist program.

We also aim to forge close links with the labour movement and working class on and off campus.
