Liverpool: Then And Now

Documenting changes to the city of Liverpool by recreating and contrasting modern-day versions with historical photos of the same scene

Old photographs of Liverpool city centre and suburbs, retaken by Keith Jones in 2012-2017 and put next to each other for people to look at and that. The 'then' photographs originate from a wide range of sources including the Liverpool Records Office, internet searches, old postcards, or sometimes are sent to me by their owners, so my thanks go to all for their help.

Occasionally when I'm visiting other places outside Liverpool, I'll take some old photos to do a similar thing there, too, just because I enjoy it!
