Went to see Scouse Nativity last night and the first thing I noticed was how much nicer the venue has become since it was done up! As for the play itself, well - fantastic! Standouts for me were Herod and the female shepherd, but that is not to detract from anyone else as they were ALL superb! Credit to the set designers too, for an unusual but effective set up. Everyone involved in this needs to be proud of themselves for putting on such a great production!

User

Went last night with family to see 'The Scouse Nativity '.....hilarious :)

Woke this morning and I still have a smile on my face remembering the characters and the production along with a sore throat from singing and laughing !

The team at the Theatre are excellent too.

As a wheelchair user booking later on, the booking office could not get us all seated together initially. Very kindly a phone call came yesterday to say that they had managed to sort seating out. It shows how they care and this made for a great Christmas night out. Well done everyone !

User

Well if you haven't visited The Royal Court for a while then you're in for a big surprise! It's "Goodbye" to the days of watching pop concerts in there in rather tired old surroundings and "Hello" to a lovely dining experience with great staff and delicious food followed by a superb show. No more racing to finish your pudding as you try to get to the theatre before the curtain goes up. Eat your dinner then sit back and watch the show all in the one place. Lovely AND there are LOADS of Ladies' toilets, not just 2 or 3 for a whole theatre!! Well done Royal Court, I'll be seeing you again soon.

User

The royal court is the place to be great food great shows all the staff are helpful and the shows are mostly 5 star if you haven’t been you are missing out

User

The Scouse Nativity was unreal! The writing, performing, music! Comical from start to finish! And the icing on the cake was the food was great too! Just what we all needed a good laugh!! Thanks for a great night

One of the oldest theatres in Liverpool which used to look a bit of a mess but due to a recent refurb over last few years the place looks and feels amazing bringing it up to the standard of The Empire Theatre and the Philharmonic Hall

Myself and my 11 year old daughter attended last night to see ‘Liver Birds Coming Home’ after we won a competition from Liverpool Echo on Facebook. I had read mixed reviews but we enjoyed every minute! Top marks to the cast and crew, I think everyone there also loved it. We also had a two course meal included and it was delicious!

User

My mum is 60 odd yrs old and being profoundly deaf has always stopped her going but since the royal court has been doing signed performances she's been to every single one since she loves it.

On her first trip the cast went out of their way to learn to finger spell their names and came over to say hi.

Well done to everyone involved and to the signer too Karl

KEEP UP THE FABULOUS WORK GUYS

User

I would like to say a massive thank you to the 2 girls who were on reception this evening, Having had a mix up with our booking( our fault not theres) they kindly sorted it and allocated us our seats, unfortunately i have a real fear of heights so finding that our seats were in top circle and finding i was unable to sit that high went back down to reception and explained this to them, they then went out of there way to get us seats in the stalls, these 2 young ladys are a credit to themselves and your company and i will be forever grateful for there kindness xx

User

First theatre night of 2018 and what A fantastic night it was, Her Benny was an emotional rollercoaster with laughter, tears, and a feeling of warmth. The theatre itself is a mixture of old and new with a lovely, cosy atmosphere. I will definitely be back for future productions. Thank You to the cart and all involved for a lovely evening. x

User

Amazing show tonight as always and well done to the staff member who quite rightly asked somebody displaying unacceptable behaviour to leave, in fairness they were warned twice then got quite foul mouthed, the prompt actions of staff avoided the show being ruined for others x

User

Play was amazing but never been so uncomfortable in a theatre before. Never sit in row A in the top circle. You can't move your legs. Brilliant show though, Her Bennie was fantastic xx

User

Love the place meal lovely but this just left me cold , liked the young Sandra but very contrived storyline, forgettable songs must have gone over the heads of the younger audience who won’t have seen the original series which was much sharper

User

We went to see Her Benny today it was more of a musical nothing about the story poorly done as we have read the book and seen it at Liverpool Empire that show was taken from the book properly done i want to know if the woman who wrote the play actually sat and read the book because it was more like Oliver Twist today and about 3 hours long seats are uncomfortable.
