Well done Juliette on your sub 24 & course PB 23:48 at Dalby park run today 💪🏃‍♀️👊 It was good to hear that your legs felt great after a combination of acupuncture & soft tissue work yesterday. Keep those pbs coming!! 😁 Your hard work in training is paying off x

User

Great course by a great instructor - I can highly recommend!
I have recently read an article where Scientists recently tested 16 healthy males who carried out 15 minutes of foam rolling on three consecutive days. The results found - led to reduced fatigue after three days and enhanced muscular efficiency.

User

Good luck to all clients who are running the GNR today 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Enjoy, have fun and most of all have a great day.

User

You looked strong today!!
It was great to hear your feed back on how good & light your body felt at York 10k today after your pre race myofacial release and Acupuncture treatment last Wednesday.
We done on your PB 47:32 keep them coming 😁🏃‍♀️

User

Having great success treating Achilles Tendonitis with acupuncture & Myofacial Release.
Lovely to see Sarah today and to hear she is already feeling the benefits. Sarah is now on her 4th treatment and is doing light exercises with no pain 😁🏃‍♀️
For those who are a bit sceptical or unsure of this way of treating - The European Journal of Applied Physiological Medicine reported that acupuncture increases the blood volume and oxygen saturation to the Achilles tendon which laste...d well over 30 minutes after the treatment ceased. One of the anatomical features of the Achilles tendon is that it naturally has very poor blood supply and this is the exact reason why Achilles tendonitis can take so long to heal.
The fundamental aim of acupuncture is to increase energy and blood supply to the area of the Achilles injury which then promotes regeneration and rejuvenation.
Another study found that acupuncture was shown to have a positive effect on the regular and parallel collagen fibers of the Achilles and thus accelerated the healing of the tendon.

Completed it!! 😁
Wow what a course! (At Active Health Group)
I have learnt some effective acupuncture protocols for Disc Herniation (Lumbar & Cervical), Femoral Nerve Pain, Sciatica (2 types), Trigeminal Neuralgia, Thoracic Outlet Syndrome, IBS Pain, Costochondritis, Headaches & Migraine (3 types), Arthritis Pain and more.

User

Fantastic day, putting into practice everything I learnt from yesterday’s training.
Here is Danny receiving a 2 part acupuncture treatment for lower back pain and irritation around L4/5 following the (herniated disk protocol recipe for L4/5).
An amazing treatment with awsome results 😁 x

User

It’s been a busy few months here at the clinic and traveling over to Manchester for some fantastic training in advanced myofacia and adding another fantastic tool to the tool box.
Throughly enjoyed week 2 looking at the positioning of the ribcage, its influence on the spine and how it determines where the centre of gravity transmits weight throughout the body.
... Identify and removing fibrosis in deep spinal muscles that lock facet joints open or closed. Realignment of the vertebrae through myofacial technique and troubleshooting the body with the aim to restore balance and alleviate scoliosis, lordosis and kyphosis.
We also looked at restoring the nerve pathways from the spine that could be influencing conditions throughout the body & restore the clients body height once the body is in balance.
Loved learning & right up my street the body/mind connection and how to restore negative pathways.
It was fascinating to experience some of this treatment and learn in more depth at how theses trapped emotions/traumas could be holding you back in life/sport, the cause of your pain, ailments joint dysfunction and injury.
Could this be the route of your issue?

Throughly enjoyed!! Well done team, amazing effort!! Triathlon York - Sprit Relay Team 🏃‍♀️🚲🏊‍♂️

User

Early morning start, but fab! Throughly enjoyed taking part (loved it on the Bike) in the Sprint Relay Triathlon at York Sports Village. Well done Team!!

User

On route to Manchester for Advanced Diploma in Myofacial Release - Part 2 😁
Throughly enjoyed Part 1 - especially the day on feet! Learning techniques to remodel the foot & toes to promote function further up the chain I.e Glute activation & restoring a fallen arch. (See pic below- improvement on the arch after only 10mins of treatment)
We also looked at strategies to restore balance, treat chronic, blocks of pain, tension & blocked trauma using superficial & deep techniques. It was great looking at & learn techniques to treat postural issues & movement patterns for a greater accuracy in function & performance & ways of treating dehydrated tissue which may be on route to dysfunction & injury.

User

Available at the clinic for effective use on pain, support, aid postural correction, reduce inflammation and bruising and speed recovery.

User

So good. The following day I really noticed that the work had been done. ALL of me was switched on, I felt physiologically sound which is a massive thing to me as a movement coach and with that in mind, I’m mindful as to who gets their hands on me.

Liz knows what she is doing and does so in a way that doesn’t seem intrusive but absolutely nails the rebalancing/restructuring.

User

Simple for me, the number one therapist in the area! Polite, knowledgable and effective. As a first-time user I was made to feel at ease and I've made major improvements in both my posture and running technique already.

The clinic is clean, private and easy to find. I won't hesitate from seeing Liz again.

Thank you Liz for all your help. x

User

Liz is extremely good at what she does. After having a fractured ankle & tissue damage 2 weeks ago and now after seeing Liz for a couple of session, I'm able to be back training with Scotland in no time! If you have any problem through injury big or small, I'd highly recommend going to see Liz!!

User

I visited Liz twice with a foot/leg problem and the treatment I received was first class. I had a great initial consultation and the treatment itself was excellent. Equally as important is that Liz listens to you and gives fantastic advice for after care support, such as stretches and other ways you can help yourself recover quicker. Excellent value for money and I highly recommend to anyone looking for treatment.

User

I suffered two months of serious back pain. Liz advised me to stop weight training for three weeks in order to desensitise the muscles, and to concentrate on stretching and some cardio. After eight days, my back started to relax and after three weeks I feel great, can move freely and have better posture. Great advice and care. Liz is a really good therapist who I highly recommend.

User

I run a lot and I’ve been going to see Liz for a while now and she always makes a massive difference when I see her. Whether it’s just a regular check in or a specific problem she is incredibly thorough and her understanding is brilliant.

She is so knowledgable and more than happy to share her experiences so you know you can trust what she says. She is also very tolerant on the odd occasions I don’t listen and end up back on the treatment table! Thanks Liz :-)

User

I have just competed at Endure 24 Leeds at Bramham Park and to say I was apprehensive beforehand is an understatement. I had been suffering from pain in my right hip for almost a week and felt my training may have been for nothing. Liz was on one of our clubs relay teams and kindly offered to take a look at it for me. She soon diagnosed it was a piriformis issue and lower back stiffness causing the hip pain and soon got to work on me both Friday evening and Saturday morning. Liz worked her magic and stretched, manipulated and taped me up ready for the midday start. I felt amazing. 24hours later, I had covered 100 miles, through the heat of the day and mist of the night. I seriously believe if Liz hadn't worked on me I would not have covered anywhere near that distance. I strongly recommend her to anyone suffering from any kind of aches and pains. Thank you

Liz, you're my hero

User

I contacted Liz for advice for my 11 year old son who was having re-occurring knee pain. Liz thoroughly assessed him before making recommendations and providing treatment. She even managed to get a hyper 11 year old to relax enough to have acupuncture. 2 sessions and we think he is mended. I admired her questioning technique and thoroughness with a young person, treating him equal to any adult. Thank you

User

Been suffering with my leg at the beginning of the week and didn’t think I would be able to run this weekend in the Triathlon relay event let alone put a decent time in. Saw Liz yesterday who gave me some great advice, corrected my lateral hip elevation, leg length & used myofacial release techniques along with some acupuncture & myofacial taping. Thanks Liz my leg feels amazing, happy with my time, performance. Your a star
