Lizard Lane Holiday Park Description
At the park we take pride in our location, the park overlooks Marsden Bay with its resident seabird colonies. This tranquil sloping grassy site offers spectacular sea views. The location of this park is a huge selling point-in fact the setting of it can only be described as breathtaking! We have a mixture of Long term Tourers & Static pitches; we also have short term holiday pitches. This enables us to build up a fantastic community spirit throughout the park. From the Park you are in the perfect place because in front of you is the coast.

Love it sunrises to die for .. lovely atmosphere .. peaceful .. gorgeous views!
I used to come here a lot as a kid absolutely loved it
I have spent a number of long weekends here recently with a large group on friends, the site and it's facilities are clean and are done to a high standard, the staff are friendly and helpful, the site is very reasonably priced and the location is perfect. We will be returning next bank holiday weekend for the amazing views, great weather and locality to all local amenities. Definitely recommend for any occasion!
Great place and friendly people on site. ..........
Fantastic place, very friendly, clean and suitable for children
Fab, lovely, peaceful place xx Im here most weekends and I love it x
Stayed in a tent for the long weekend as me and my friend were doing GNR. Brought family and friends with me. Helpful staff. Clean facilities. Very close to the 12 mile marker for spectators.
Pricey for a very basic site, with the added cost of electricity on top. Making it £42 per night. My tent is an 8 berth and was originally told I would pay for 1.5 plots. In the end I paid for 2 plots. When I said 2 friends would be staying, it was suggested I would need to pay an extra £5.50 per night, per person. However they decided it would be unfair to charge that. Making the total £82 per night.
The night before GNR 2 small tents went onto the plot I had paid for (although I wasnt taking up that space) I questioned this and asked about having some of my monies back. This was refused, however they did say they would be looking into this due to fire regulations and the small camping area being over crowded once those two tents were pitched.
All in all the site was what we required, although basic and pricey.
Spent the long weekend here with campervan as my mum and I where taken part in the great north run. Very friendly site staff and toilets/showers very clean and we'll maintained. No complaints about stay. Would recommend.
