For a large branch customer service atrocious. Only 1 member of staff on the floor who didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I was waiting for ages. I gave up and left. Perhaps they should re-consider staffing levels.

A very frustrating experience. It's a lottery as to whether you will get someone helpful, or someone extremely rude and unhelpful. One youngish chap, probably in his very early 20's has been the only person I've had an interaction with that didn't feel robotic or patronising. Several times this last few months a middle aged woman with glasses who works at the front of the store was very rude and patronising to me and my mother (separate visits) and also other customers in plain sight. She either has no idea that her behaviour is so transparent or doesn't care. Very off putting that this sort of attitude to customers or any human being is acceptable. Having seen this on more than one occasion in the space of a few weeks, it's clearly not a one off occurance for this particular member of staff to be so unappealing. Another much younger member of staff at the front of the store on a different day tried to be helpful initially but it was more of a "computer says no" experience lacking any sort of initiative, not acknolwedging people waiting or even letting people know someone will be with them in a moment - Barclays in Lowestoft are the complete opposite and are friendly and attentive immediately. Even if the staff member is talking to another customer it doesn't take a second to just smile and signal that you will be with them in a moment. It's really quite poor. At the main desk which I got sent to after the initial enquiry I felt like a criminal as the member of staff flustered her way through my request with a permanent frown. She was also rude. I was also given a telephone number to call to arrange appointments, well let it be a warning that you may leave a message on this "mobile" number they provide you, but nobody will get back to you because simply, nobody in this branch seems to care - I friend of mine experienced this exact same thing also this week with the mobile number. A disgusting example for Lloyds bank. I would love for this branch to get a visit from an 'anonymous shopper' as I can't see how else they will look at themselves and consider some of their desperately unnecessary shortcomings.

Only 1 person on the tills, meaning queuing for up to half an hour. Ridiculous when I need to get to work! The staff however are lovely.
The manager really needs to get staff behind the tills.
