What a fabulous place. My friends say I am quite fussy, particularly regarding service and cleanliness. Both of these areas I would rate 5*. Furthermore, quality of drinks and food was excellent. Beautiful setting, lovely surroundings and comfortable atmosphere.... Thank you so much to a wonderful team. Andy from Travel&Tourism at Exeter College.

Made to feel do welcome yesterday. Had a lovely lunch followed by drinks outside in the sun & complementary C &B. Finishing off with prosecco. I'm not sure I want to tell everyone how amazing it was as this place is very special. All the staff were very helpful nothing was too much trouble. Hope to return very soon.

Lloyd’s Lounge is just what Exeter needed.

Lloyd’s team are exceptional. Always warm and welcoming and stop to chat. The seasonal menu was perfect - we enjoyed the pulled pork with apple bun and side salad. Beautiful interior and crockery too. Everything has been so well thought out. Highly recommended.

Contacted Lloyds lounge to reserve a table for brunch for my daughters birthday and it didn't disappoint. Fabulous decor, delicious food and most importantly a really warm welcome �

Called in for lunch today whilst shopping with a friend, the service was fabulous as ever and I can thoroughly recommend the Club Salad!

Always go to either Lloyds Lounge or Lloyds Kitchen when in Exeter, which is most weekends daytime. Tonight we popped in for drinks and snacks to Lloyds Lounge to listen to the live sax which was brill. Had a great couple of hours listening to good music with a large glass of vino�

Good food and reasonable service. Friendly, helpful staff and a good range of gluten-free meals available. Slightly off-putting that we were only outside reading the menu when a member of staff came out and encouraged us to go in - it came across that they were desperate for the custom, but tables filled up very quickly, so it's obviously very popular, and overhearing a few conversations we got the impression that the restaurant has a loyal customer base.

Nice coffee...akburi breakfast was good but avocado not the freshest. My partner ordered rosti but didn't want tomato so had to pay more to swap for egg! Service...some excellent, some not so good. Am undecided on my overall opinion.

Lovely surroundings, lovely decor. Food let down by caterpillar in salad. Further let down by no apology from waiter, no apology received until I had to mention it when paying, won’t be returning , was very disappointed Also no vegan choices on the menu, need to move with the times.

Lloyds lounge is very warm & comfortable but the menu is not very big & the staff are not very friendly.I felt like I was being made to rush to leave our table aswell as there was other people waiting.

Wouldn't go back again.
