Lmc Studios Description
The facilities within the LMC Studios are ideal for professional quality recordings ranging from band demos to full albums. We also offer on site mixing and mastering by professionals who have many years experience in the industry and have recorded bands from genres as diverse as Punk, Folk, Indian classical, Screamo, Indie, Pop, Rock, Blues, Classical, Jazz and Electronica.
The LMC Studios are an ideal place to mix Band /Solo recordings to a professional standard, record voiceovers for Radio /TV advertising or create gift recordings.
The Apple Mac based Studios, running Logic Pro, boasts a range of high quality recording equipment including:
* Allen & Heath GSR24M Mixing Desk
* Recordings at 96khz 24 bit
* Neumann, AKG, Shure, RØDE and Sennheiser microphones
* A range of high quality outboard processors by Neve, Drawmer, TLAudio, Lexicon, XIX etc.
* Acoustically treated live room and vocal booth
* Instruments include: baby grand, Hammond Organ, Fender Rhodes ’73, Gretsch kit.
Recording rates are £15 per hour, rehearsal rooms £10 including equipment. Contact us for availability.

Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are no longer taking bookings for the recording and rehearsal facilities. We hope that this is only temporary and wish to extend our thanks to all our clients and friends from over the years. It has been great fun working with you all and we have some amazing memories to look back on as well as some excellent recordings to listen back to.
Time for another 'Weekly Gear Spotlight' this time were giving a big shout out to @sennheiser for the MD 421-II. We record a lot of heavy guitar here at LMC and this is a favourite for using in a fredman technique alongside a 57.
