I enjoyed my Continental breakfast with my wife yesterday and the service was very good and attentive. It is in nice surroundings and we did feel welcomed.

Enjoyed a very pleasant drink here yesterday, only to find we had left our backpack behind! Walid, Rachel and Kim were so helpful this morning when we phoned to ask if it had been handed in. Really grateful, super customer service! Glad to be reunited with our bag, and a great place for a drink!

Always have a fantastic experience! Walid, the manager, will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best visit. The food is fantastic as is the atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend!

We went for lunch.....beautiful setting, food was very nice but a little over priced, customer service was good but a little slow not enough staff to cover the amount of service needed

Really didn't expect starters to be delivered with our main courses lasagne was dry to say the least and steak well done was well and truly over done very slow service arrived for 4.30pm food took ages in fact a table arrived after us was served before us

Mains were very good but then the issue came -We had to wait 45 mins for 4 desserts, 3 ice-creams and a hot pudding, no apology just excuses and when they did come still no one spoke to us to apologise. We asked twice and had no response then I spoke to the manager and then they still took 10mins extra to come, by this time my kids (2 & 6) were tired and just wanted to have their ice-cream, The food was very nice when we got it but customer service is not good and what was meant to be a lovely meal out turned out to be very stressful. Will think twice before returning.

45 minute wait between each course. When we eventually got our main it was horrible. Used to like the food here but not now. We won't be returning again.

Would give no stars but that’s not an option! Table was booked for 6:15, didn’t get seated till gone 6:40! Waited what seemed forever (well over an hour) for our food to arrive after excuse after accuse from our waitress (if she said our food was on its way 1 more time I would have screamed)! Decided to have dessert (big mistake)! Again after a long wait most of the desserts were cold yet still managed to taste like they were microwaved! Called the manager over who was absolutely useless and repeatedly smirked at us before just walking away! The waitress gave us some money off vouchers and stated that we could use them on our meal (40%) only for the manager (Lee) to tell us we couldn’t use them till tomorrow! Then the bill came! He had very generously knocked off the price of the desserts, even though 1 was returned and not replaced anyway! The table behind us had free desserts and they didn’t even complain! Eventually just decided to pay the bill as my 7 year old daughter had school the next day and it was already 9:10! Absolutely awful experience, the staff need updating in their customer service and the manager needs replacing! Will not be returning and will definitely not be recommending! I work with the public and have never experienced customer service like it!

Slow service.seated late.dont book time slots on tables if you can’t keep to them!!!!!!! .absolutely ridiculous.rudest manager I’ve ever met.Lee was his name and I’d recommend he goes on a customer services course after how I was spoken to! When I proved him wrong he just walked away,really unprofessional.we were offered 40% off our next visit but that’s a joke as I’d never wish to bring my family back after such a bad experience

Not very good at all, no roast, so we had to order different food , then waited over a hour for the food. No one came over to see if we needed anything or was the food ok. When we got the food. My daughter had to go up and ask where the food was. To day we all not been very well. Not help

Not very busy but meal took over 30 mins to arrive and steak was like old boots plus staff did not now how to work the till and was not very customer friendly

Just got back from a nice meal here, it was very quiet even the staff were surprised, but it still took THIRTY minutes after getting our table before anyone came along to ask if we wanted a drink or get our order. Then we even had to go and find someone when we wanted to order desert. Standards have really fallen when it come to service.

Had a lovely evening at Lockyer's Quay, however, I ordered the sirloin steak and it was very chewy and full of gristle. I mentioned this to the waitress at the end of my meal and she took my plate to the kitchen who subsequently confirmed that it was, indeed, a 'bad' steak. I was dissappointed as the manager told me I would still have to pay the full price for my meal, although had agreed it was not an acceptable standard. I barely got an apology for the poor food and, in fact, the waitress told me that they get an awful lot of complaints about their steaks as the quality is poor because they buy them cheaply in bulk. I did point out that whilst I appreciated it wasn't her fault, perhaps they should advise their customers not to waste their money!

Got there and there was only one other couple in the restaurant and literally stood at the area to wait to be seated for 10 minutes and then we were seated and asked what we would like to drink, the server was pleasant and polite and our drinks arrived quickly.

How ever we did wait for 40 minutes for our food to arrive and there were only 3 couples in the restaurant when our food arrived.

The member of staff in plain clothes and not uniform brought our food to the table and told my wife she had a big mouth for ordering the burger, as the member of staff assumed I was having the burger and I was having the scampi and then realised my wife was having the burger saying I wouldn’t expect a woman to be able to get her chops around the burger. The staff are discriminatory to sexes assuming what they would eat and then the server abused my wife verbally. The server also though it was funny what her manager had said and the family on a table behind us were gobsmacked



I also asked for garden peas and they gave me mushy peas so they do not listen to what people order



The food is great but customer service is non existent and they are so slow at delivering your food. Can see why this chain are in financial trouble



We will never go to this restaurant again

For starters waited ages to be seated then ended up finding our own table and getting our own menu’s then letting someone know once they had appeared that we had seated ourselves.



Toilets still out of order one end of restaurant but disabled toilet open for anyone to use with a broken flush (that’s been reported many of times so I’ve been told) along with being very dirty.



Service was the worst we’ve ever experienced in the times we have visited here. At first I would have said understaffed but don’t think that was the case, just lots of young staff members doing what they wanted. Dirty tables everywhere. If it wasn’t for the sake of having two kids with us that just wanted to sit and eat we would have gone somewhere else!!



And just to add something else to it. We go to pay to be told cash payments only. Not once did we get told this was the case. They had been to the table enough times that this could have been mentioned.

Food was okay but got a shock when the bill came. We thought the soft drinks were refillable, as they are at Beefeaters and Harvesters, only to find that they are not and had to pay over £17 for 4 Pepsi. Never again.
