I've been using Loddon Motor Tec since 2012 for four different cars and I would not trust anyone else with my servicing and repairs. Matthew and his team are outstanding at fault-finding and are absolutely trustworthy, only doing what is necessary, but doing it to the highest standard at the most competitive rates.
As an example, in February 2016 my daughter's Polo developed a misfire, and as I was local to the main dealer (Robinsons Norwich) I took it in for a diagnosis - they charged me £150 just to diagnose sticking valves requiring a head removal, at an estimate of over £1200, while at the same time introducing me to their salesman who was trying to sell me the idea of a trade-in against a new car! I tried my local garage (Thorpe End Motor Co), who came up with a similar dire report, again for further charge.
As this was now a serious issue, I took it to Loddon Motor Tec, who ran their own diagnostics and found the fault was actually an injector and cam sensor, replaced at a fraction of the cost and leaving the car running better than ever. Do NOT believe that main dealers provide the best service and have the best technicians - you will not find better than Loddon Motor Tec. When you book your car in you may find you have to wait a little for a booking, as Matthew is always so busy - there is good reason for this - once you have used them, you realise there is no reason to go elsewhere. I'm not normally bothered enough to take the time to write Google reviews, but LMC are simply the best value, most trustworthy people to deal with, and I can't recommend them highly enough.
