Wednesday 16th January 2019 was a rollercoaster of emotions for the Lodge, Worshipful Brother Mike Colborne was installed into the chair of the lodge surrounded by friends and brothers having protested since time immemorial that he was never going to do it!
The evening was well attended by almost 60 people with visitors from numerous other lodges and a provincial team led by WBro Christopher William Bond representing.
The evening finished fairly late with everyone having professed to having had a really good time.

#EnoughIsEnough We have had enough of misrepresentation and #fakenews in the media, now is the time to make a stand, and prove once and for all the good we do for the community.
WBro Martin Barker presented a cheque for £2,000 to the charity Diverse Abilities on 12th January. The sum was raised by members at social events during his year as Master of the Lodge in 2017, when Diverse Abilities was his chosen Charity for the year. He is now the Charity Steward of the Lodge.
The photograph shows WBro Barker (left) presenting the cheque to the Chief Executive of Diverse Abilities, Mark Powell (right) with two of the charity's staff.
Diverse Abilities is Dorset’s disability charity supporting children and adults with profound physical and learning disabilities across the county since 1955.
