I have given logix enough time since my last letter to explain themselves for my diabolical experience and have received nothing, so have taken it upon myself to warn others about my experience.

I had 1 known issue with my car, I was told that this was the place to go to get it sorted and I explained this over the phone when I booked in. With my MOT 6 weeks away I thought I would get that done too. They seemed nice and friendly when I arrived (I had driven from Leeds for the appointment). I explained the fault again and left them to it.
I got a phone call an hour and a half later, to sum up I was told it'd cost you just short of £1200 to pass the MOT and that my MOT had expired.
In a state of panic and stress I called my dad who lives locally, who picked me up and went with me to retrieve my car. He was there as I was repeatedly lied to about the MOT expiry date (I had the paper work in my car, but in my moment of stress it slipped my mind) - we both feel this was a pressure tactic, due to this I was told that they shouldn't let me drive my car away, I was quoted just short of £900 without the service as they said there's no point in doing it, and they even had the cheek to off the cuff offer to buy it off my for scrappage price!
Luckily my dad knows my rights and said I was allowed to drive my car home once and to a garage to get it fixed, which is what happened. I left my car at my parents house as logix had now deemed it unroadworthy and had to insure myself on my dads car - despite my car's MOT still being in date and this information being accessible to the public! My dad and I scrutinised the breakdown costs and discovered that advisories had been factored into the cost of the minimum which I had been quoted. Later in the week I contacted the DVLA and they checked the car's status and MOT and agreed that I COULD in fact drive my car up until the MOT expiry date. Logix and I exchanged emails and letters regarding this as I believe I am rightly owed compensation for the misinformation and miscommunication which lead to a mound of unnecessary stress, upset, loss of money and inconvenience to retrieve my car which had been lying on my parent's driveway 30+ miles away.
My last letter was sent on the 2nd February explaining my complete dissatisfaction, but would basically drop my complaint, - though I still had not had it explained to me how or why I was told such an incorrect MOT expiry date, thus affirming my belief that this was all just a scare tactic. Amidst all this, the one known problem I took my car in for still went unresolved.
The diabolical service and treatment I received will haunt me whenever I have to take my car for an MOT or service in the future.

I opted for the pick up and drop service offered in the website. My car failed the MOT for a drive shaft gaiter being worn!

I was quoted £57 for the job which was agreed over phone - £10 gaiter and £47 labour!

We agreed to complete the work by 12:30 PM, however, there was no call or response from them. I have to ring them 3 times to find out that one of the bolts have sheared and they have to drill it out and fix the gaiter which had taken 2 extra hours than predicted. They also did not inform about any additional charges at this point in time. I believed that everything is taken care of with the original quote of MOT+Engine flush+Gaiter change = £190

I rang again by 4:00 PM only to find out that the car can only be delivered by 5:30 PM and the bill was £185 additional for changing the gaiter instead of the original £57.

They explained to me about the above issue and although I feel they should have told me about this earlier, I was still OK since I needed MOT completed and the car back ASAP.

I was disappointed to see that the only thing I mentioned as complaint (passenger door not opening from inside) was not taken care off. I spent around £310 for MOT, engine flush and gaiter change.

If the car was valeted or at least washed, I would have given 3 stars. Sub-standard service from my perspective and would not be going back to them again.

Very disappointed due to
1. Lack of communication
2. No added value to money spent
3. Lack of service and personal care

OK
1. With the friendly person picking up and dropping the car.
