We celebrated our daughters 15th birthday at Lola,s yesterday and loved every minute! The staff provided a 1st class service, looked after my daughter's cake ( even if it did got slightly damaged in the fridge ), and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was great and we got 25% off the total bill due to the slight damage to the cake! Loved it and a massive Thank you to all of those lovely young staff who were rushed off they're feet with a smile on they're faces, Still! �

Was in on Saturday with 11 work mates service was great and food was delicious fillet steak platter was real tasty staff were great and atmosphere was good all in all great experience and will be back

The food here is excellent, service is great and it's a lovely little place to fill your belly with one of the massive burgers on the menu, I only have two complaints.

1. It was a little bit chilly inside

2. Lack of a desert menu.

Other than that spot on!

Lovely afternoon at Lola Jeans Newcastle, fabulous steak platter usual high standard. Staff are great, really friendly .

I had the rump beef platter and my neice had the sea food platter both was absolutely delicious steak was cooked to perfection lovely atmosphere and great service

I had a great experience here, the food was amazing! Really great atmosphere and friendly staff will definitely be back if I get the chance.

First time I had been with my other half and I honestly can say it was a pleasure food was amazing nd the Russian cocktail was beautiful can’t wait to come again

Came here yesterday with my 2 mates, we had the chicken sharer for 2, pizza fries, pitta and dips, Mac n cheese and beef Spring roles. Food was delicious, probably ordered too much but pretty much ate it all ( what can I say, we love our food). We had cocktails which were fabulous, would defo recommend this place.

Amazing food and really great staff. The lady that served us tonight was more than helpful as I explained I was vegan and she went above and beyond in adjusting an item to suit me, and offered alternative breads and dressings. Thank you, will definitely recommend to others!

Absolutely love it here! The service was top notch shout out to Karis, Amy and Dan for great service! Equally the food was amazing!

4 of us came yesterday after my daughter had given me a heads up and was blown away,funky decor,great vibe and fantastic food,had the steak platter and it was the best ive had in town,my compliments to your staff too,a great evening and my only problem is not being able to give more than 5 stars......cheers xxx

Recommended to go here for food and on looking at the menu online we decided to give it a try. Not disappointed at all. Starters lovely and had shared steak platter for main - just lovely. The only negative thing I would say is space to eat, very limited. Will def be back.

My first visit to.lola jeans and its a lovely place, there was a table of 9 so were advised to pre order. We all ordered the steak and chicken platters which were absolutely amazing, steak.was cooked to perfection. The only down fall was the service, I read reviews before going and seen people had commented on it before but gave it a whirl..unfortunately the reviews were right. We waited almost an hr for our food after pre ordering, we had no cutlery when food arrived so had to wait again and they only came.to the table once.



I would recommend people to go.but be prepared to wait :-) :-)

Went to Lola jeans last night there were 15 of us! We booked a table for 7 but rang to say we were running late! When we arrived at 7.20 our table was still not ready! We eventually got sat down at 7.30! No one took our order till 7.50 we were then told there was no steak left! I think we should have been told this when we were sat down! As quite a few of us wanted the steak platters! So we then didn’t order till 8! The staff seemed very disinterested all evening! We were sat right at back and found it difficult when we wanted to order some water for table! We actually had to get up and go and ask! Our food was about a 50 min wait which I think is quite a long time! The saving grace was that the food was lovely! But I think the staff need some customer service training!

Usually very good food and service but certainly lacked yesterday. The clean and lean burger was definitely not and instead full of grease. Asked for salt and steak knife and it took 10 mins to get them, by then nearly finished the food. The steak was well done and ordered med rare. Staff avoided any eye contact when trying to get their attention. When paid st the bar and asked how our food was , told the staff member and she just replied “oh”. Used go to on regular basis now will not. What a shame.

Myself, husband and our nearly 1 year old decided to get lunch here or should I say tried to eat lunch here! We were seated and I asked the waitress do they have high chairs and she said she would go look but she never brought us one back. Then another waiter asked if we wanted a high chair about 10 mins later and again we said yes, but he didn’t return with one either. During this time we weren’t actually served!



Eventually the original waitress came to our table and asked us what drinks we wanted so my husband asked “what pale ales do you serve” the waitress replied “is that larger” because she didn’t know she went to ask at the bar but she never returned! 25 mins from sitting down nobody brought us a high chair, offered us drinks or asked what we’d like to order so we decided to leave.



The venue wasn’t busy as it was Sunday afternoon so staff weren’t rushed off their feet but what annoyed us more was the fact a few people who came in after us got served with drinks and food before us! For us the service was terrible and we won’t be returning as I feel it’s not a family/child friendly place.

Had a meal here for the first time Friday 2nd Feb 2018. Service was reasonable quick but was not impressed with food or drinks and was over priced. Also too dark to read menu had to use phone torch. Would not go again! �

Very disappointed and won’t be returning or recommending. The service was absolutely horrendous especially considering there were 5 empty tables that I could see from where we were sitting so it’s not as if the staff were rushed off their feet. Food was tasteless given that it was swimming in water from the spinach they had not drained properly!!! You could have filled a pint glass with the water from our plates combined it was ridiculous. Also my boyfriend’s poached eggs were over cooked and therefore hard boiled. Definitely not worth a penny of the the £57 it cost us for lunch.
