Meet the LCF Short Courses and Study Abroad teams! Our small and industrious teams support you behind the scenes in your courses.
This year we have been working hard to operate more sustainably and have ditched plastic folders for your course notes, introducing recycled card folders as a replacement. Your course completion certificates are printed on PEFC Accredited paper from a sustainable source. We also use an FSC and environmentally accredited company for design and prin...t materials.
Our Study Abroad team have stopped printing course syllabi, and have drastically reduced printing as a whole. They also switched to reusable glasses for events or 100% degradable disposable plastic where glass isn't possible.
Inspired by our improvements in sustainability this year, instead of our annual Secret Santa gift-giving we each brought donations for our local food bank. We look forward to continuing to improve our sustainability while bringing you great courses in 2019.

Do you want to build your fashion buying & merchandising skills?
Our 3-day course Fashion Buying & Merchandising: Advanced is designed for students who have taken our Introduction and intermediate level fashion buying & merchandising courses, or who have equivalent experience. This course will take you from intermediate to advanced and includes analysing macro and micro research to draw up a merchandise plan and create a range plan for a specific fashion retailer.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to use digital archives of samples, garments and technical information in your fashion design process?
The ART-CHERIE project has developed two online units to help designers explore and use digital archives effectively and creatively in their design process. They will launch and demonstrate these new online tools to designers as part of the European Year of Cultural Heritage on 13 December in London, join them to find out more.
