We did the 6 day pass with two parents and two kids and made our money back fourfold in savings. Every non-free attraction we wanted to do in the London area was entirely covered by this (we didnt care about doing the London eye).

We did the following:

Riverboat tour of thames to get to Greenwich

Greenwich royal observatory

Tower of London

Westminster

Churchill war rooms

Bus tour of London

London bridge experience

Natural history museum

London zoo

Hampton court palace

Transportation museum

Shakespeare's globe theatre

Hms Belfast

St Paul's cathedral

All included on the pass. The people claiming it's a scam are the actual scammers for what it's worth.

My only complaint is that the app claims to help you get discount theatre tickets and the ticket part of the app is horrific - don't bother. But this kind of problem is minimal for people wanting to spend a week in London and see all the sights. If you're one of those people, then don't think twice or hesitate - buy a London pass!

Be warned it activates when you first use it and the clock starts ticking. You can't use one day and then save day 2 for a few days later. Most of the people whining about the pass just assumed they could save it. You can't. If you go in knowing that then just enjoy your London trip and use the pass to save hundreds of pounds.

We bought three-day passes for our visit to London and it was great! We visited many attractions, did the hop on hop off bus and the boat tour. Having the pass made it so that we didn't question which attractions we should do - we just went ahead because we had the pass. One tip: When I originally ordered it I had it shipped regular mail, but it didn't arrive. About 5 weeks before the trip I called and they sent a new package by courier, which came in a couple of days. I wish I had just paid the money to have the passes couriered to Canada originally. Over the phone and email the London Pass staff were quick to respond, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend.

User

We bought the 2 days LP for 87 £ ( online price was 94) . It is a good geal , if you had a good breakfast and you are able to walk and visit all day long . Avoiding Westminster abbey and Churchill war rooms, you can easily get to more places . For example , we started with St Paul , after that, the Tower , Tower bridge exhibition , HMS Belfast , Golden Hinde and Southwark Cathedral . By some luck we got to the London bridge experience too . Next day we cruised on the Thames to Greenwich . We had just 2 days ,so we were in a hurry , but after all, i think that the 3 or more days passes are the best deals .

User

Used our passes at London Bridge Experience, HMS Belfast, Tower Of London, River Cruise, Big Bus Tour, Namco Funscape. Tower of London was Fastrack Lane down to the entrance booth, river cruise queue was busy and slow but they came down with a scanner especially for London Pass holders. Obviously we didn't spend loads of time at each place, London was heaving and it was absolutely boiling and we had kids with us but can't fault the passes everything went great.

User

Purchased while we were still in our country. We just download the app and used the code on our phones without any problems. We visited the Tower of London, The Shard, the Kensington Palace, the Golden Hinde, the Household Cavalry Museum, Churchill War Rooms, Shakespeare's Globe Theater, etc. We also went on a Hop on Hop off bus and on the Thames River Boat Cruise. Warmly recommended.

User

My boyfriend and I bought the 6 days London pass (we stay 5 days) and it was very helpfull to suggest us where to go. We visited lots ok attractions, I don't know why someone said they didn't accept the pass. On the contrary most of the places had the symbol of London Pass and often employees asked if you had the pass to indicate the right way. Even if we use it for 5 days instead of 6 I think we saved lots of money, obviously you have to plan carefully your route and check the opening hours because most of historical buildings and museums closed at 4 or 5 pm. I warmly recommend st. Paul Cathedral, particularly the towers offer a beautiful view on the City and Windsor castle (with the pass the train travel is included). You have also a discount at m&m's world :)

User

It's not a scam! Purchased on Sunday, picked up the day after. Me and my husband visited:

Windsor Castle (with free train passage included), St.Paul's Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London, Tower Bridge Exhibition, Southwark Cathedral, The Shard, Hop on hop off bus, Kensington Palace. 3 Days pass was a lot of help and convenience. I have purchased it 2nd time and will definitely do it again.

People must read informations about what's included in the pass - there is a book handed over to every person picking up the pass on Leicester Square or you can download it if you are choosing mobile pass.

There was also an information about the possible disruptions in the Easter holidays given to us by the office workers.

User

For those of you traveling to Europe and want to do the tourist thing, I recommend investing in one of these passes. Each pass includes access to free public transportation, all access pass to all the museums (including the Louvre in Paris) and other major attractions. You also have free hop on/hop off bus tour access. And more! It’s definitely worth it! It made traveling a lot easier and fun!

User

2nd time using the London Pass and once again we rate it 5*. This time we went with 6 day passes for adults and kids and we saved at least 50 gpb/person on admission entrances. To make the most of the pass you have to be organized but using the guidebook that comes with your pass and the online app it is very easy to do so. Both have suggestions for days out, attractions by area, etc. Can highly recommend both the 6 day and 10 day passes that we have had experience with. Also 5* to the London Pass team who reissued our passes when Canada Post lost them!

User

I actually really loved having the London Pass. It was easy to use and efficient I was certainly not denied access to any attractions and in fact the explanation in the book was really good.

However I was really disappointed with the treatment I got from the Big Bus company. I went to the stop with my pass and asked specifically for the golden tours tour... this was from a rep from the original tour and as he isnt on the london pass he said that another could help ... well i chose the golden tours tour for a reason as it stops at the globe, shard ect and when i asked the big bus tour man he said yes no problem giving me a golden tour ticket, after scanning my pass he then said oh thats an old map and gave me a big bus tour which does not go to the same stops. Needless to say i was raging and not happy at all because you cant change bus tours which it clearly states in the book and you one get one tour which it states. I think this was horrible treatment from this company within the pass and there will be complaints made about it to the tour company as I ended up spending money I didn’t need to.

This is the only bad experience i had and although its not the pass fault I think they should not be letting their customers be treated like this. As for attractions I would recommend 100%

User

We had our wins, but definitely more losses. And this isn't an issue with the card as much as how information is conveyed. You need to book ahead for at least 2 or 3 of the attractions, which I'd gladly have done had we known. With only 3 days in the city, highly disappointed. Wasn't worth the value.

User

We bought 3 day pass and after using the pass we found out that a lot of the attractions like St. James Palace was closed for the weekend due to a race and bank holiday. On calling London Pass office to compensate a day pass to visit the James Palace when it’s opened and they refused it. We asked how come we were not informed when we bought the pass and it was not indicated on their website too. To which we were told that this was beyond their hands!!! Really! What about the money we wasted? The least they should have done is great Ben us a day pass to James castle as a courtesy. I would advice to look into all the closures etc before you spend money on the pass. Hope this helps.

User

For our honeymoon, my husband and I bought 3 day passes (as we had something else planned the other days), we paid $400 (not pounds). Yes, we had to wait in lines, but were directed to shorter lines so we didn't have to wait for tickets. Some places required a ticket, therefore, they scanned your pass and gave you a ticket. Unfortunately, we paid extra to include travel. DON'T DO IT! They did not specify in person that we were limited to £25 worth of travel for 3 days. Not nearly enough as we were trying to do as much as we could. Tried calling where we picked up our passes because our last day we had enough for a one way trip. They tried telling us that it was the cities fault and we had to contact them. We did, they state they do nothing with visitor passes. Called the place where we picked up the passes again and was told they give people an estimated amount of travel money for what they think we would need in 3 days. Online it says unlimited travel, yes I have a picture of it. Overall, it was not worth the money. Many of the museums are free anyway.

User

You are most disappointing.

My purchase was with your site ‚Äď ‚ÄúGet Your Guide - London Pass‚ÄĚ ‚Äď this is also what appears on my Mastercard statement.

You have failed to deliver what was contracted ‚Äď entry to the Churchill War Rooms.

CWR refused to accept what you promoted on your website as ‚Äėeasy cancellation‚ÄĚ and ‚Äúinstant confirmation‚ÄĚ. It is for this reason I had to buy a replacement ticket to enter the CWR.

You have confirmed in writing to me:

1. There was no easy cancellation ‚Äď ‚Äúthe cancellation policy is automatically applied from the moment the booking is confirmed, since 24 hours in advance is no longer possible‚ÄĚ.

2. There was no ‚Äúinstant confirmation‚ÄĚ as the ‚ÄúMeeting point - Ticket Booth, 11a Charing Cross Road" - This section of the tour page indicates precisely where to go, once the booking is made‚ÄĚ.

This is both misleading and I could argue, deceptive conduct.

As such, I have disputed the charge with my bank and will be reporting this matter to ABTA, Tripadvisor, Google search, Facebook and every other social media channel possible.

Worst adventure ever and the biggest waste of money. My friend and I used the pass on a Saturday. We ordered the mobile pass, so far so good. First, the big bus tour wasn’t a live tour at all and most of the time we had to sit downstairs or stand therefore we had also no chance to use the audio recording. Everywhere we went we had to wait in line(also where they said we can skip the line with the pass). It’s a totally waste of money. Also the attractions you probably would like to see are not included. If you have questions, you have to look it up by yourself, nobody who you can ask from the London Pass staff. Very disappointed.

Very poor customer service in regards to dining guide

The actual London Pass was a good value. I doubt we saved much money but visited a lot more places then we normally would have. As a family of 4 many attractions have family prices or my kids would have been free.

The issue is with Dining Guide. It is an add on purchase and we had hopes it would work out. Never having been to London it gave us lots of choice to eat at. We had issues at two restaurants. First one the place did not want to honour the 2 for 1 for up to 6 guests as the guide states. This was only brought up when the bill came. The second place the server did not want to accept the card and said he had to contact his manager who was off that day. After 30 minutes we left as we could not wait any longer. I brought these issues to the London Pass's attention and they said is not their concern. The money was refunded (15 pounds) but that does not cover the money we are out from those two issues nor the hassle incurred on your vacation. They suggested I contact the merchants directly. I did not purchase the dining guide to have to have issues and have to enforce the terms of the dining guide with the restaurants. If a system cannot we worked out where the dining guide is accepted where it is advertised or have a system in place for issues then the London Pass should not offer it.

User

My sister and I bought the the two day London pass. When we went over to London, many of the attractions which were on the London pass booklet denied us access with the pass. We were informed that many of the major attractions don't accept the London Pass anymore. We were highly disappointed as we wasted a lot of money on the London pass but were denied access, unless we paid for the attractions. Therefore, we missed out on some attractions we wanted to visit, due to not bringing enough money as we thought we could use the London Pass. The booklet and information given should be really updated.

User

I’ve trying since Monday to get someone to help me to no avail. Purchased and was charged for a 10-day pass and received an order verification number, but never an actual email with pass info. My credit card has been charged $198 american dollars, but I’ve received nothing and have not received a single response to my emails, tweets or facebook inquiries. Purchase at your own risk. Service is terrible and it’s a rip-off as they don’t provide what they promise.

User

It’s an absolutely terrible experience that you pre-paid 110 pounds for a pass for 3 days (almost 40 pounds per day) and in every spot you have to queue for hours just to redeem your ticket (same as walk in customer). While someone purchased the online ticket with an online discount can go to the spot directly. That’s absolutely cheating n misleading that

1. both online and London pass customers are prepaid customers but we didn’t receive same service. Why is that?

2. While you spent hours just to enter a spot, in average you can only do 2 spots per day. What’s the price value by having a London pass while it is restricted to certain spots?

3. London pass agent just here to do the sales while they are not responsible for the service after sales, guaranteeing the customers who can really make good use of the product. It is a very irresponsible attitude and approaches to customers.

Is it because we are not London local so our voice is being neglected ? Or it feels like we would not take further action because we are abroad so London pass agent dare to provide us this experiences?
