Long Acres Touring Park

Stayed here over last 4 years amazing site and owners are lovely mother and father in law stay 8 weeks a year never had any complaints about this lovely park 5 star all the way x

this is a 10/10 site if you have dogs and can walk them on a lead and not just let them run around a park, there are lovely walks around the quiet lanes from the site and the dog walk is not a postage stamp it is fine for dogs to have a run round .the owners are really nice and friendly keep the site clean and tidy and work really hard but i suppose you cant please everybody .if you like peace and quiet a nice sheltered site away from the hustle and bustle you will be pleased you chose here .

I totally disagree with one of the previous reviews. The driveway is normal gravel, which is not a problem for us or many others for taking waste water etc, my husband has Arthritis and he has had no problems, plus quite a lot of sites use the same ground covering. Laundry facilities, these are mostly situated on the larger commercial sites such as c&c /c&mh sites yes some other sites do but not very many. As for the dog walk this is a good size and well kept for all size dogs suitable doggie bags are also provided which can be deposited in the facilities provided .
The wifi coverage is good if anybody experiences any problems they only have to contacted the owners who will rebooted or whatever needs doing and then it is fine, how can things be rectified if they are not told about any problem found . The wifi on sites are not going to be as good as you have at home. Most visitors to this site are happy and return time and time again, it is adults only and well worth a visit

Long Acres is a lovely site, we have been here a few times and it is always immaculate and the owners John & Tracey are very helpful, the wifi is fine we have been on numerous sites where it has been a lot worse, we always check the site facilities before we go and if there are no laundry facilities I wash by hand if needed but then I don't go on holiday to spend time washing clothes. I am disabled and have had no problem walking on the gravel drive or transporting the water/waste container, we have never used the dog walk as we only have a cat but it looks perfectly adequate and certainly comparable to the ones on numerous sites we have been on, Thank you for yet another brilliant stay we will return

Have just visited this site and we were very disappointed with it. There were no laundry facilities and we have been caravanning for 12 years and this is the first site we have visited that does not have one, We were told the nearest launderette was in Boston 8 miles away! amazed they got such a good star rating! The dog exercise area is like a postage stamp! and there are no good dog walks locally. The wifi coverage was poor and it kept dropping out, they did not tell you that it was not very good but they were keen to get your money!! The drive way was shingled through out so taking the waste water etc to the facilities was not easy. I would not recommend this site to any one, particularly if you are bringing dogs with you.on the plus side it was very well maintained and clean.

Fantastic camp site, lovely atmosphere. Strongly recommend this site if your looking for a peaceful break. The owners are very friendly and will often stop for a chat. The pitches are all level and spacious. The shower and toilets are kept immaculate as is the whole site.

Just got back after a lovely 6 day stay excellent facilities, beautifully clean and very well maintained friendly owners will visit again.
