We went with family to see Festival of Light and it was worth every penny. So magical for children and adults. The animals were very active which was nice to see as normally in the summer they are asleep!

Loved it! We went round the Safari twice and still had time to do everything else. As we've gone close to Christmas, they had their Festival of Light event on which was absolutely stunning me and my partner loved it so it's not just for kid's at all! There was also the Christmas tree they light up and play a show as well another show with owls that was really good. Definitely recommend going on the boat to go see the sea lions, hippos and the gorillas.

One of my fave places. The house is really interesting. The park and grounds are fab for all ages with so much to do but my favourite it is the safari. The enclosures are really spacious and the animals are really well looked after. Superb day out for the family

Went to Longleat with my girlfriend yesterday and had a great day out. The layout confused me a little at first though.
When you enter the park you come to the ticket booths and I had reserved some online and paid before I got there so I just needed to quote my booking number and my tickets were handed over along with a free cd guide which was pretty good. .

Then you go to a small area called the 'African village' or something like that.
There is a good view of the giraffes and zebras, also a cafe, toilets and the first of many gift shops.

Then you get back to the car and start the safari whether you like it or not. The free CD was good and had plenty of info on it.

In comparison to West Midlands safari park the safari is quite a bit smaller but to compensate there is more to see in the main park when you are out of the car.

We stopped in the pizzeria for food and they cook fresh pizza to order in a fired oven which you can have as a takeaway too and tastes great.

I recommend the boat cruise and the guy we had giving us the info on the animals we passed was pretty funny too.

Overall we saw a lot of animals and all looked well cared for and the enclosures were good size and quality.

A great day out for all ages just make sure you get there early to get the full benefit of everything.

I absolutely loved this park, from beginning to end!
There is something for everyone, from kids to adults.
The safari is loads of fun and will keep you busy for quite a while so bear that in mind when planning your day :)
There are so many different activities that you won't know where to start!

This is what you can see:

Safari park where you drive through with your own car to see the animals but can also stop off at the African village where they have lemurs and goats and wallabies but also a cafe and shop.
During the safari, there is an option to go through the monkey part but please be aware that they will climb on your vehicle and eat anything that they can get hold of. We lost our antenna...
Some animals such as the elephant and the rhinos are not walking free around you (due to the obvious danger of them charging).
We got a very close view of the giraffes but didn't see the elephant or the tiger.

The adventure park
There are several attractions such as a labyrinth, a monkey island, a small train, a penguin island and a few other things that are worth seeing too.

The house and gardens
We didn't have time to do all this unfortunately but the house and gardens are beautiful and well worth the visit.

There are plenty of cafes and drink places. Ice cream stalls and doughnuts too.

It's a must see for the whole family!

Plenty of activities for children, mum and dad too. Not forgetting the safari park with the monkeys stealing the show.
The only downside, the price of snacks. The prices are ridiculously high...
£7.20 for one hot dog and chips as an example.
Otherwise a splendid day out.

What an amazing place. Second visit in as many years and loved it once again. Drove through the safari twice and had two different experiences. Fed the deer first time and saw the lions eating very close up! Second time had a cheetah walk in front of the car. Also really enjoyed the macaw show.

Great day out for kids. Food surprisingly good value. Kids play area is gigantic and well done. Lots of hands in fun for all ages. Went in March on a gloomy day with a bit of rain. Did not put off the animals or us

Worth every penny!! We stayed until the last minute and it was so worth the 2 hour drive! My 2 year old was in awe, and me and his dad loved it! Will definitely be revisiting :)
