The Sunflower Women’s Centre is the First centre in Plymouth for women recovering from substance misuse, mental health issues and domestic and sexual abuse. The Sunflower Project started as a collaboration between two women’s rehabs in the city, Longreach and Trevi House. Now thanks to the hard work and dedication of Chrissie Smaldon and her Sunflower Team, a new recovery centre has opened in Mutley and will hopefully now start helping other women in Plymouth. Incredible work ladies. Well done !!

An amazing service this morning to commemorate the International elimination of violence against women day.... Longreach just love working with Trevi house 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

The women of Trevi and Longreach are marking tomorrow's International day for the elimination of violence against women with a memorial service for all the women who have lost their lives to domestic violence this year. The service is at Sherwell Church at 1030 🌻

Longreach Volunteer gardening day. Thank you to all of my TaeKwon-do friends who came into Longreach today and gave up their precious time to help clear our garden. The main focus was on our memorial garden to help make it a special place where our women can pay tribute to their loved ones and those ex residents we have lost their lives to addiction.... It rained torrentially but we were all smiling..... Thank you so much. Xxxx

Congratulations to the Sunflower Recovery Team for you first week of making a difference to women at Trevi House and Longreach. There has been a bit of everything, hard work, empowerment, team building, roast dinners, cake, attack of the killer wasps, Vegas and Woman Flu..... there have been giggles.... and the service users have loved you.
