Lovely location at bowness which is a walk away from the port. You could also have a short drive or walk(though a little far) to windermere for scones and dinner
Great hospitality, small car park but was enough space. 5-10 minute walk from centre of bowness and lake Windermere and short drives from many other locations
We have just returned home from a 4 night stay at the Lonsdale hotel . Where we stayed in room 7 which was everything we hoped for . And the staff at the hotel were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble to make our stay so enjoyable the breakfast was served and tasted lovely .we will definitely be going again Pam and Kevin and fudge the dog
Pros - Friendly staff, scenic location, easy to find and close to lake Windermere. Cons - Breakfast timings are a problem as they only serve between 0830-0930 daily. There is no lobby and the dining area is extremely cramped.
Extremely well kept, excellent and helpful staff who care.
We had a beautiful and peaceful time here and felt recharged and relaxed the next day.
We will be coming again.

Lovely friendly staff, brilliant breakfast and excellent location.
Stayed here a few times now. It's near all amenities that you want on a short stay in the lakes. Owner Andrew can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable and all staff are very pleasant. Breakfast are good too sets you up for the day. I'm back in Feb and July 2017 can't wait
