the 26th October 2017 i was involved in a single rtc with an object being left in the road.

My car was taken to Lookers Garage Colchester 70 Barrack Street Colchester CO1 2LT, for repairment.

In my car i have a black box for my insurance on Monday 6th November 2017 at 12:37pm on my black box read that they have taken my car on the road which has flagged up that they was high speeding and harsh breaking round corners , my concern is as we had to pick up our car on Tuesday 7th November 2017 we looked at part of the route he had taken and his manner of driving is dangerous in built up area and kids around it's disrespectful to a customers car.
We have reported it to Lookers and they took off £15 off our bill and leave it to them to take care of the matter, we beleave that they didn't take us serous in this matter and also we beleave this manner of driving is unacceptable in a built up area where children and adults could of been hit.
We now taken the complaint to the head office for them to investigate this matter and police.

Rip off merchants, not interested unless you’ve got a brand new car under warranty. Staff are rude and aggressive parking outside other peoples houses & then walking into work.

I have got my car skoda superb fixed after accident by Direct Line. Rear door replacement + front door resprayed. The job has been done professionally and up to a very high standard. Staff members were welcoming and all was pleasant experience. Very happy with repair.

Terrible experience..
Booked in my car for mot and service on a Saturday .
Arrived to find it was not on their system. Some thing about we don't use this system anymore .

if this is the case .close down the website/booking site .

Was told they could do nothing and a manager would ring me during the week to explain and arrange some sort of discount. Left it 3 days .No call .rang to speak to manager .Was told busy and he would ring back . Next day I finally get a call to be told I may or may not get a service and mot the following Saturday .fully booked . no word of discount for my troubles .my only day off and mot running out in 3 days .
Had to book in last minute at a non ford garage around the corner .
Not a happy customer .

Absolutely outrageous dealership...
Be careful...I booked my car in with this dealership for a service and to check gearbox issue they had it 24 hrs and then called me telling me I needed a whole new gearbox at the cost of £5000, when I went to collect my car the sevice hadn't been done and I was told they wouldn't cover my gear box under warranty as it was a few miles late on its service. I then booked it in with simple service in Colchester who did a gearbox oil change and the cars perfect..
PLEASE ALWAYS GET A SECOND OPINION!!!

Awful from start to finish. From the moment I first contacted them I felt like an inconvenience. Stupidly I chose this garage to do the repairs to my Ford Focus, thinking it being such a reputable name I would get a quality repair. What I got was the total opposite. I was charged for repairs that clearly hadn't been completed. Upon pointing this out a man apologised and said he'd take the car away now to repaint and should only take half an hour. It came back 10 minutes later with what can only be described as a dab of white paint over the chips they'd missed.
Completely unprofessional, not willing to admit when wrong, no communication. Usually I'm easily pleased and would never complain however these people need to be avoided!!

I went to the garage recently for an insurance repair and felt very welcome and the staff were really helpful. Considering they were busy they kept me updated so I knew what was happening.

Sometimes people are quick to pass a judgement but I like to give recognition when it's due. Unfortunately I didn't catch anyones name but would be happy for my car go there in the future.

Very expensive work when compared to non brand garage. Also, couldn't do the work necessary despite their call centre saying they could. Local garage sorted it.
