Treat your Mum to a once in a lifetime stay at Lookout Lodge at ZSl Whipsnade Zoo. A great way to spoil her this Mother's Day, she will be treated to a drink on arrival and after settling into their very own cosy lodge, will be whisked away on a sunset tour of the zoo visiting our African and Asian animals. After a delicious 2 course dinner, she can take a torchlit stroll through the zoo to see who is still awake, before settling down for a good night's sleep. After a full English breakfast the group will visit some of our animals, finishing up at our Penguins. She will then be able to spend the rest of the day exploring the zoo, or even head down to ZSL London Zoo to spend the day there!

Stay at Gir Lion Lodge at our sister site ZSL London Zoo and sleep next to our Asiatic Lions!

User

booked this as a birthday treat and worth every penny, loved the lodge, plenty of food and fabulous tours when the zoo is closed to the public.

Just make sure you have plenty of layers, especially for the torchlight tour, it gets chilly on the hills but with heater in the lodge you're nice and cosy when it is time to sleep.

User

We stayed here on the 4th of July and had an amazing time. The lodge's were clean and very comfy.

The host's were all so friendly and chatty, really made you feel at home whilst at the zoo. Their knowledge of the animals is really outstanding and they have lots of fun stories /anacdotes to share .

We got to meet alot of the animals, most of whom were up and more active because the zoo was so quiet and peaceful after hours.

I feel the tours are worth the cost alone and would recommend this experience to any animal lovers.

User

We had the most amazing time sleeping over at the Zoo, we had a great look around all the animals, checked into our beautiful little camping pod. We had a private after hours tour round the animals followed by a gorgeous two course feast, a torchlight tour to see which animals were awake and then an overnight stay in a cosy little camping pod. A great nights sleep and awoken by roaring lions followed by day 2 round the Zoo! An amazing experience 🐅🐆🐘🦁 xx

User

We had an amazing time at the zoo, would definitely recommend the experience of staying in one of the lodges , lovely food, friendly & knowledgeable staff and brilliant to see what the animals get up too at night time & learn more about them with the talks.

User

Wasn't sure what to expect on this experience but it was everything we could have wished for. Had an afternoon at the zoo first then checked into lodge at 430 . Very well organised all the way through, food lovely, evening tours were brilliant, great to have the animals all to ourselves. The accommodation was very comfortable and everything needed was there. Lovely early morning start helped by the amazing weather.

Gorgeous breakfast followed by last tour to give some of the animals their breakfast.

All in all it was a brilliant experience, highly recommended.

Thanks to all involved

This was a Christmas present for my niece but i probably enjoyed it more. if you are an animal lover this will be fab. if you are taking an animal lover you will enjoy their enthusiasm. I'm the former. The 3 guided trips when the park is closed are really good. I felt like an expert going round the zoo again the next day. Giraffes were my favourite before & after but we all left wanting to take home a lemur (at least for a night).

User

The stay over night was great, cabin is cosy and comfortable slept really well. The walk round was good and got to see animals closer than usual. Our tour guides Emily, Hannah and Ellie were amazing very knowledgeable and friendly nothing was too much for them. The food was good and filing the only down fall I I would say is that the ice cream doesn't state it comes with cream and I do not like cream so was unable to eat it and the ice cream is prepared and placed back into freezer and so was hard and icy. The morning tour was great and feeding the animals was fantastic. The whole visit was very informative and have walked away with knowledge. It's definitely worth the money.

User

Such an amazing experience! The hosts were fabulous and friendly, the accommodation warm and cosy, the food delicious. Even the rain didn't dampen our enjoyment - we loved every moment!

User

Me and my fiance had a magical time! Thank you Pippa and every other member of staff who went the extra mile to help my partner with his proposal, and made our overnight stay at the Lookout lodge truly amazing Whipsnade zoo will always be a special place for us!

User

Lookout Lodge is a must have experience!!! The after closing tours are amazing and very insightful with the staff imparting some fabulous facts.

Although it appears to be expensive, it is worth every penny.

User

I booked this experience for my sister's visit and we both absolutely loved it. The guides are very enthusiastic andknowledgeable and made the tours very enjoyable. The lodges look a bit like hobbit huts and are clean and very comfi. The food was excellent too. I cannot recomment this experience highly enough! It's worth every penny!

User

Fabulous 24 hours. Despite the rain we managed to enjoy my Christmas present and it did only rain a bit on the torchlight walk. Hearing the lions roar and the flamingos in full voice is a memory that will be with me forever.

User

Brilliant! Loved it all. the extra tours with the animals was great. The zoo is probably one if the best ive been to. Our pod was very comfy & warm. Food was very very good and all the staff we're really friendly. I would recommend this experience to anyone

From the moment the experience starts you feel part of something special. This is helped in part by being greeted with a glass of champagne.
