The Tragedy of Lorne Part 2. A Mains hub exploded outside tonight, losing all power in the building and forcing us to close.

Wonderfully crafted menu, exquisitely prepared food with perfectly paired wines. A new London gem has just been unearthed...
We had one of our best meals in a long time at Lorne. The staff are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable, the food is amazing and the wines are great, with a very good selection by the glass. All 3 courses were equally tasty, which is unusual. The use of some unusual but skilfully matched ingredients is a delight. The décor is comfy and light, and I love the wooden table tops and grey chairs. The bread and Sicilian olive oil are also a treat. I have already recommended it to several friends, and will certainly be going back very soon.

I’ve visited many great restaurants in the USA as well many cities around the world, but sincerely Lorne’s great cuisine and love for detail rates in my book in top tier. I’m sure , in my opinion , it will not be long before Lorne is recognized by Michellin and Zagat. Congratulations to the chefs and attentive and excellent staff

I took my staff here for lunch as a treat and it was superb. I think it was their first day of being open as well, a great addition to the area. Great staff and service. Will be back
