Classes begin with arrival at 10am for tea/coffee & homemade pastries, 1.5 hour masterclass, canapés and a glass of sparkling wine, three course lunch, finished with coffee and petit fours.
During the demonstration there is ample opportunity to ask all the questions you have and take home plenty of practical tips and ideas.

Went with friends for our wedding anniversary and had a fantastic meal with excellent service, we went for the tasting menu and it didn’t disappoint. Wine was really good too. Would throughly recommend.

We visited for the first time today using their tasting menu offer.....fabulous. We did also have their cheese board (I know we were greedy!) all I can say is the cheese selection was superb and in perfect condition......we will be going back.

Truly incredible food, beautifully balanced dishes would highly recommend having the wine flight to accompany each dish.

This is our second or third time at L'Ortolan. Great food and chef. I was only a bit disappointed of the last strawberry dessert, I thought it was too acid. My wife and I loved everything else.

The food was absolutely fantastic, the service impeccable and the prices reasonable for a Michelin stared restaurant … of course you can spend a lot of money if you want to , but stick to the set menu and go easy on the alcohol and you will get amazing experience of food at its very best in a budget.

The 7 course dinner was superb, the service was also excellent, we chose a wine from the Alsace region and the advise and knowledge of the Sommelier was also excellent.

L'Ortolan is one of the best places that I have had the privilege to enjoy a wonderful dinner at. The food is delicious with the most wonderful and different tastes together in one meal. We have dined here more than once and have not been disappointed at all in any of our visits. The staff are professional and always ensures that you have the best complimentary wines to go with your dinner as well. We have now moved from the area but will definitely return soon for another night out.

It was one of the best dinners I've ever had � the staff were very attentive. I had a delicious mocktail and the food was simply exceptional! Every dish was incredible. We had the surprise menu and every course was so delicious I couldn't choose a favourite. We will definitely go back.

I surprised my wife on her birthday with a trip to L'Ortolan and we were not left disappointed! We went for the 7 course Gourmand menu and it was just what we had hoped for - wonderfully interesting and tasty food combined with great service meant we had a magical evening. Thank you L'Ortolan!

First time at L’Ortalan today, early Valentine’s lunch with the wife. Settled on the Gourmand menu, absolutely fantastic, exquisite flavours and stunning presentation. Our Sommelier was also brilliant and all selections complimented each dish perfectly. Thank you to all ...we will be back ...

Eye opening mouth watering experience. The glasses, the wines of different regions and colours and smells, the somelier's explanations - all drama and art that was intoxicating:-)



That's what it does to you. You start to sound like a food critic but for once it really is appropriate.



The company of friends made it a joyful experience such that everyone who can should at least once.

Cocktails great. The chef allowed three of the table to upgrade to the 10 course which was really appreciated. Food excellent. Wine pairing great and included English wines as well as cider which was unexpected. All staff very attentive and warm in their delivery. Couldn't reccommend enough

Absolutely amazing day!! My dad (who travelled 250 mikes) and I did the cook and dine experience today and we had a fantastic time!! We don’t get to spend a lot of time together but we have a mutual interest in cooking. We took a few new skills away and had an amazing lunch and the whole experience was just second to none! All of the team - both chefs and front of house were fabulous! Thank you so so so much xxx

I came with two friends for lunch. One friend was touched to have her birthday acknowledged with a message from the kitchen. The meal was superb but for one thing. There were three of us, but the bread basket contained two pieces of focaccia and two slices of (I think) sourdough. Obviously this was not sufficient for all of us to enjoy both sorts on offer. I suppose we could have asked but that would have made us look demanding. A small oversight, but it would not have happened if someone had counted correctly.

Went for our Anniversary when we arrived we were asked to go to the conservatory where we sat and were given drinks menu then other guests arrived and they were served straight away with drinks and canopies, leaving us looking at each other which annoyed me to be honest. The food was nice and felt the staff were not over friendly and found it hard to understand the waiter when he was explaining what we were eating. The staff were attentive and the kitchen sent a nice Happy Anniversary slate with writing on.

It was a to be fair a nice experience. Food and associated wines was rather good and attention from staff excellent during dining but once the bill was paid pretty much non existence. I have dined at many Michelin starred restauraunts in uk and France and the staff have been most excellent up until you leave their area of responsibility i.e. when you leave I will go back but feel they may lose their Michelin star if they dont step up.

Great food, great service, great wine. We had a lovely A la carte dinner. Superb.

The only downer was that we booked the chauffeur service. We paid the driver upon arrival but were given a bill at the end of the night by the restaurant. We told them we had paid already and were met with derision " that's not how it's done" they then made a big fuss about it, making us feel awkward. We were told the taxi would he 2 minutes. An hour later and 2 other groups being sent out before us, ours arrived. The driver was then surly with us because we had told the restaurant we had paid. I feel one of their drivers was trying a fiddle and got caught.

Great food, avoid their "chauffeur" service. Book your own taxi.
