All this fun has put a smile on our faces when the weather has been so horrid outside. We have enjoyed conversations about looking forward to gardening in the spring and the other outdoor activities in the Summer!

We are hosting a Dementia Friends Information Session with local Dementia Friends Champion, Sarah.
FRIDAY 21st FEBRUARY 10:30AM
The session is open to anybody who would like to learn about dementia.
... Dementia Friends is about learning more about dementia and the small ways in which you can help out and about in the community.
The session will last about 1 hour.
From attending the Dementia Friends session to telling your friends about it, every action counts.

Our trip to Bexton Primary 🚸
Our lovely resident Gwen used to be a cook at Bexton Primary alongside Sue, who still works at Bexton.
It was a lovely day for Gwen who was smiling ear to ear after meeting up with Sue again.
... The children we met in reception class were so welcoming to all of us and we watched in awe as they counted to 100 for us🥰
We had such a super visit on Monday and look forward to going back again!

A relaxed weekend, our residents made Valentine’s Day decorations, iced cakes and enjoyed a glass of Prosecco with their excellent roast beef Sunday lunch, made by our chef. We will be displaying the decorations in our home , pop in and have a look, we cut out hearts, painted hearts and added glitter , then made our valentines wreaths.
