“Suns out steaks out !” Roof terrace open and tunes on , cocktails ready , get down to Tomahawk and Hide bar today .. Tables 01642-355558

Won a competition today to win dinner there. Took my wife and 3 kids, everyone loved the place and had a lovely meal. The crab soufflé was to die for and the meal just got better from then. The staff were all pleasant and friendly and even entertained the kids from time to time. My compliments to the chef and all the staff. I would definitely go again and recommend it to all of my friends and family.

Visited today and sat in the new roof terrace. A perfect little sun trap! Food was amazing and service was excellent too. It was lovely to see some of the 'old classics' back on the menu. We went for the fish cakes, as a main, and the burger, which was very kindly made into a cheese burger on request. Would definitely recommend to friends and family � Thank you!

Lotus is our favourite place to go as a family for brunch. It is very child friendly and the staff always make our little boy feel very welcome. Service is always spot on and they do go the extra mile to meet any special requirements that we request. After recently having really bad morning sickness and not fancying anything off the lunch menu, I requested something plain off the breakfast menu at 2pm! There was no hesitation from the waiter and my 'difficult' request wasn't a problem at all. Food is always fresh and tasty with good quality ingredients. I would highly recommend this place for food with a young family. Or for dinner and drinks (when we eventually get a babysitter)!

Came on Easter Sunday. Arrived on time for our reservation, waited 30 minutes as the table wasn’t ready and the family sat at the table were still just ordering deserts. When ordering drinks on two separate occasions half the drinks orders never came and we kept having to prompt the staff. We then waited 30 minutes for someone to take desert orders. They also forgot one starter and one desert so each course someone had to wait. Overall we were there for 2hours and 45 minutes. Ok food but extremely poor service.
