Loughborough Kart Description
We are Loughborough Students’ Kart Club, the UK's most successful University Kart Club! Five-time BUKC champions and home to the motorsport enthusiasts of Loughborough, and we pride ourselves in making the Club fun and accessible to members of all skill levels.

The British Universities Karting Championship (bukc. co. uk)

An inter-university karting championship, where our fastest members represent the university in ultra-competitive racing all over the UK.

Loughborough University Club Championship

The Club's internal karting championship, using local circuits and open to all members. Why not come along with friends, and see who really is the best driver? These events cater to a wide range of abilities so you will always have someone to race against.
The Club Champion is guaranteed a spot in the BUKC Trials for the following academic year, and the Championship itself offers a great opportunity to showcase your talents to the BUKC Team.
Rotax Testing and Driver Training (125cc 2-stroke)

The Club owns and maintains a fleet of Rotax Max Karts and pending the resolution of some logistical issues, the two proposed event formats, offer a great opportunity for driver development.
BUKC Testing
Open to members of the BUKC team, these events will be used as preparation for upcoming championship rounds.
Driver Development
Open to all Club members, with BUKC team members offering on- and off-track tuition to help you improve all areas of your race-craft.

Last, but certainly not least, Club social events to fill those tedious hours away from a kart. Plans include competitions of the latest simulation titles, motorsport themed nights out, away-days to Donington Park and meet-ups for Formula One Grands Prix.

Another AU Ball has come and gone! Thanks to everyone from kart who came along and made it a great evening.
We recieved nominations for Media of the Year and Most Improved Team (for the B team) but sadly didn't win.

Another weekend, another car race for our A team driver Piers.
This time in f1000 at Silverstone Circuit.
He went from 17th to 1st in a race full of changeable conditions!

A few weeks ago, the Kart Club Championship went to Sutton Circuit for Round 5 of the championship.
Here is a short highlights video from the great race.
We hope everyone had a great time and enjoys the final round of the championship today at Whilton Mill.
Last weekend, our A team driver Piers competed in the MG Car Club MG Cup at Brands Hatch in the SAIC Motor UK Technical Centre Limited MG 3.
He finished 2nd in class in both of the 2 races and picked up 2 trophies as a result.
Great driving from Piers, hopefully they'll be more of trophies soon!
This weekend A team drivers Oli and Tom teamed up with Coventry University driver Neil to win the first round of the British Universities Karting Championship Graduates Championship!
Congratulations to them, hopefully this is only the start of a highly successful season!
Last weekend saw the end of a highly entertaining British Universities Karting Championship season.
Here are the final championship standings.
It was a close battle but in the end the A team lost out on the Championship to Coventry University by 1 point.
... Congratulations to Coventry, and well done to everyone who has taken part this year.
All that's left to do now is wait for the BUKC 24 Hour Race this June!

With only 1 day till the final weekend of the British Universities Karting Championship begins, it's time to announce the teams and drivers competing!
Some of our top British Universities Karting Championship drivers spent today getting some well needed testing done at Whilton Mill Go Karting and Outdoor activities ahead of this weekends BUKC season finale!

This friday is the final round of the British Universities Karting Championship! Here are how our teams stand in the championship currently.

The 2 days of racing ended with some amazing drives and 2 podiums for our A and B teams!
