What a fantastic place! Wonderful staff and a great vibe all round!! Great food, drinks and music - what more could you want x

We held our sons christening reception here this afternoon and it was lovely. The staff were very attentive, the food very good, lots of space for children to run around and seating for all...would highly recommend as a private venue.

User

We celebrated our little girl's christening here last Sunday and it was brilliant - lovely, reasonably priced food and an excellent drinks selection which our guests made the most of! The venue is nicely decorated with plenty of different seating options. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and there were plenty of them on hand for the afternoon. Highly recommend for an event or party.

Popped in before lunch for a sneaky Shiraz gin and again in the evening for polish martini cocktails. Never disappointed and great classic tunes by the dj (who I am not sure was born when some of them were released)

My second visit and I love it. The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The food and drink is lovely and great value. As a mum, I love the space for pushchairs and changing facilities, and the welcoming staff. Went yesterday without the kids and it is a fabulous place to relax and have a coffee or a cocktail! Can't wait to go back.

Made to feel very welcome and well looked after throughout our brunch visit. Had a lovely eggs royale, blt and smoked salmon and scrambled egg (not just me!) great thank you

User

Lovely place, staff very attentive and food & drink fabulous! Very comfy as I had my baby with us and there were changing facilities available (could do with a heater in this area in the winter).

A very enjoyable lunch thank you.

User

Lovely atmosphere, lovely staff and some interesting cocktails on offer! Had food there a couple of times and it is top notch too! Joe goes out of his way to make people feel welcome.

I visited Louisa's Place for the very first time today,as I'd not eaten at all because I'd just been to the dentist for a check up,so erred on caution in case I needed any fillings or whatever, which I'm happy to say wasn't he case.So I was ravenous, nothing new there mind, and has I'd never been there I thought I'd give it a try, especially as I glimpsed at the menu before going in and they were very fairly priced indeed, which is great considering it's such a lovely place and nothing like the other local same as same as chains, which I despise spending my money at! 🙄 So,I went in and was made to feel very welcome indeed at the counter,as I asked about their breakfast options, and was coaxed into ordering the larger one, which never takes much prompting anywhere, ever,as my ever expanding girth shows too well :( ;-) This was only a pound more than the standard breakfast mind, which was still very reasonable indeed,so I opted for that, with scrambled eggs, sounding yummy :P So I found a lovely little table, and the entire place's equally lovely, very light, bright and airy, tastefully decorated too, very subtle and not overdone at all, perfect. Then the guy who'd taken my breakfast order came over and asked if I'd like a paper to read, this immediately scored a whole load more positive points in my book,as little things like that show that you matter to them,so just a simple act like that to acknowledge that you do indeed matter's really special to me.The brekkie came soon after and wow,it was an absolute delight to look at,really enticing to the eye,and very generous portions indeed, all good quality stuff too, very. The scrambled eggs were a joy, cooked to perfection,as just a few seconds more would've been too much, but no,they were just perfect, and delicious,as indeed the entire breakfast was too,and the delicious pot of tead I'd ordered was just the thing to wash it all down with, really :P What also struck me,and scored the place many more positive points too,in my league of other local places to eat at,or to avoid at all costs, was the fact that I wasn't imposed on every few minutes,by some gushing, grovelling member of staff asking you if your meal's alright and are you enjoying it,I so hate it when they do that at other places,as if the food/ambience and overall service is up to par,or indeed above par as Louisa's Place most definitely is I assure you, then there's no need whatsoever to keep landing on the customer every so often to ask how it all is,as it simply speaks for itself ultimately, and this meal today there really did,in droves, and very reasonably priced too.I'll definitely be paying Lousa's Place a visit again, very soon I hope, and would so encourage you to do the same too, you'll be delighted, and more I'm sure <3 :)

Awesome place, had a really enjoyable night 28/1/17. Great cocktails, lovely bar staff. The DJ was amazing and the atmosphere was excellent. Will definitely go back there and can Highly Recommend :)

User

While this was my first time in Louisa's Place, I got the impression that it needs a night time crowd to help it realize it's full potential as a social venue.

That said, the coffee was good and it was the ideal venue for a mid-afternoon weekday catch up with a friend.

I will return for an evening.

User

Seems very cordial. Only been there for a coffee in the morning so have experienced any evening entertainment. Good service and pleasant coffee.

User

Was asked by the bar manager to 'keep the screeching down'. Very rude. Hadn't spoken to any of the men enjoying themselves in the bar. Will never go back. We would have spent much more money had he not forced us to leave.
