Wow ! 😊🎂🐬 We loved creating this stunning dolphin cake complete with edible shells for Millie. A turquoise marbled effect and delicately decorated with 24 ct gold leaf. The technical challenge was to emulate this guitar and make it as realistic as possible to the original. It was Steve Vai’s signature guitar and the recipient had played on stage with him recently, so this meant a big deal receiving this surprise cake.

One of our very specialised “Life cakes”.
These cakes are decorated with elements that are unique to the customer’s life. We love creating these cakes as they evoke particular memories for that person. This customer loves Newcastle, hence the hand drawn Tyne bridge and Angel of the North. He was also in the Army and worked with cranes, oh , and loves tenpin bowling.

Absolutely loved the challenge of making this Goonies pirate ship for a Goonies enthusiast. A gluten free lemon cake filled with a zesty lemon buttercream covered in Belgian white chocolate . Everything on this cake is edible, even the sails which were made of edible wafer paper. Please like, share and comment if you love this cake as much as we do.

We set up this buttercream rustic style wedding cake at the stunning Langdon Court today. Fresh flowers were used to enhance the style of the cake. Bottom tier was zesty lemon sponge and Sugar and Crumbs lemon drizzle buttercream, middle tier was chocolate fudge and salted caramel and the top tier was a Victoria Sandwich filled with vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve.

Would like to say a huge thankyou for my grandsons baptism Peter rabbit cake last sunday.Everyone was amazed by how beautiful it was.Not only did it look amazing but it tasted amazing too.X

We were so happy we chose Chris and Dawn to make our sisters 40th birthday cake. Chris and Dawn were absolutely lovely to work with and made the planning process easy and seamless. I explained a few ideas that we wanted for the design, the end result blew us away and our cake was gorgeous! Most importantly, the cake tasted like heaven. ! The cake received many compliments from the entire party. I wish I had a piece in front of me now because I'm still remembering how delicious it was-- moist, fluffy cake, and the filing was amazing. The price was also very reasonable. I would recommend A Love 2 bake Cake to anyone, and I can't wait to come up with another event to get our next cake from Chris and Dawn

We had a cake made for our Daughters baby shower and we were over the moon with it. We sent pics of what we would like and when it was delivered to the venue it was so much better than what i expected.

So much work and attention to detail had gone into it, it was such a shame to cut it!

It not only looked amazing but tasted amazing too(we had lemon drizzle).

I would not hesitate in ordering a cake again and would highly recommend these very talented bakers.

This wonderful cake was made for my parents. It certainly was the 'icing on the cake' for their celebrations! My parents were over the moon. My dad was very emotional about it especially. This was made at very short notice, so an extra special thank you to Dawn and Chris. Truly amazing�

The Titanic cake made for the MNDA looked fantastic, not sure about the taste yet, will let you know once tasted, well it’s been cut and can safely say it tastes as go as it looks

My son loved the Blaze and the monster machines cake. Very tasty each layer a different flavour. Thank you so much again. X

Love 2 Bake made our wedding cake- a slightly off traditional half white and flowers and half superheroes cake. The cake not only looked amazing but tasted amazing as well. Throughout the whole process, from start to finish, Chris and Dawn have made choosing and creating our perfect wedding cake so much fun and so easy. We didn't have to worry about a thing as communication was fantastic and made us feel really at ease and the final cake spoke for itself- a truly perfect wedding cake for us that went down a storm with all that attended. We would highly recommend Love 2 Bake to all who need any cakes making. Thank you so much Chris and Dawn!

Dawn and Chris made our wedding cake nearly three months ago and it is still being talked about today! Every time we talk about the wedding with our friends and family they all bring up how amazing the cake tasted, as well as looking amazing and being exactly what we wanted. Definitely would recommend them !

Dawn and Chris made a beautiful cake for my Mum’s 60th birthday. Their hand made anemones looked just like the real thing and the icing looked like polished marble!

Dawn & Chris made an amazing personalised Nutella themed indulgent chocolate explosion tower cake for my partners birthday.

The cake: was very very popular and the birthday boy especially loved the design and personalised Nutella jar. Taste wise the cake was delicious (and not too sweet which was key). We loved the subtle, smooth Nutella buttercream and the chocolate cake was fluffy, moist and flavourful.

The service: I had a vision for the perfect cake and Dawn & Chris made it very simple to turn the vision into a cake creation! A very polite and professional service, the cake was delivered to my door (without giving away the surprise), perfectly wrapped and ready for the celebrations.
